Omogeneizzati

Vorrei tornare ai tempi degli omogeneizzati, ma quanti problemi in meno avevamo? Non esistevano preoccupazioni se non quella di non sapere a cosa giocare. Adesso, invece, dopo settimane di ansia per gli esami, inizierà quella per la tesi o per qualsiasi altra cosa. 

Vorrei tornare a quando ero così felice ogni giorno da saltellare e cantare o quando la mia mamma mi vestiva come una bambolina, quando mangiavo alla mensa dell’asilo su quelle piccole sedie a quei piccoli tavoli. Quando nessuno era cattivo e l’unico obiettivo era quello di convincere la mamma a comprarti i giocattoli.

I’d like to take back to the baby’s food time, how many less problems did we have? I’t didn’t exist worries but to don’t know which game we could play. Now, instead, after anxious weeks of exams, it will start the tesi’s one or for anything else. 

I’d like to get back to when i was so happy that i used to jump and sing all the time or when my mother used to dress me like a little doll, when i used to eat at the school’s canteen on those little chairs and those little tables. When no one was mad and the goal was to convince your mother to buy you new toys.

Epoca sbagliata

L’altro giorno, mentre guidavo, ho sorpassato un uomo anziano in bici. Qualche volta faccio delle associazioni davvero curiose. Ho pensato a cosa potesse pensare lui della società moderna, di come è cambiata la città nel corso degli anni. Se sentisse la mancanza degli ambienti di un tempo. Che buffe sono le immagini che vengono in mente così, queste associazioni che si creano nella testa. Da un uomo su una bici alla nostalgia di un tempo che non ho vissuto.

Dico sempre che sono nata nell’epoca sbagliata, vorrei avere 70 anni adesso, vorrei aver vissuto i tempi migliori, la musica migliore. Magari avrei visto nascere dei movimenti artistici che ora si studiano all’università, avrei vissuto la rivoluzione tecnologica e l’avrei criticata dicendo che serve solo a rimbecillire le persone (e non avrei torto). Si vuole sempre ciò che non si ha, ogni epoca mitizza quella precedente, d’altronde, come ci insegna l’arte contemporanea, è sempre difficile accettare la novità, prima ci si discosta con paura, poi la comprendiamo e la facciamo nostra.

The other day, while i was driving, i passed an old man who was riding his bike. Sometimes i create very curious associations. I though what he could think about modern society, how city has changed during the years. If he would miss old places. How funny are the images created by the mind. From a man on a bicycle to the nostalgia of a time that i didn't live.

I always say that i’m born in the wrong age, i’d like to be 70 right now, i’d like to have lived better times, better music. Maybe i would have seen the artistic movements that now we study at college born, i would have lived technologic revolution and i would have criticized it saying that makes people stupid (i wouldn't be wrong). We always want what we don't have, every era thinks that the previous one is better, by the way, as contemporary art teach us, it’s always difficult to accept the new, we reject it because of the fear, then we understand it and make it ours.
