Smiley was born without eyes and spent his first few years in a puppy mill. His condition also gave him a few other quirks: he is smaller than your average golden, but he has really big teeth. His back legs are a little bowed. And he looks like a puppy — from his size, to his soft, fuzzy coat, you would never guess this boy is nine years old.

Despite his difficult beginnings, Smiley now has an amazing family, and is also a certified therapy dog who gives comfort to mentally ill and disabled patients every week. He loves to be in contact with people.

An Old Soul finds disinterest in activities of their own age group. They feel as though they need not to participate, because they have in fact experienced this before. Therefore, an Old Soul will most likely be quite independent, often a wanderlust, because he or she will feel bounded to experience their unknown. Often to be confused with loneliness, but in fact not. Because this Old Soul has the love of thousands of beings and lifetimes before.

Astrologically she is a Scorpio, very passionate and curious about scary things. In this painting she pulls from her center a rainbow sphere, a heartdrop of spiritual potentiality with the Tibetan syllable Ah. The Ah is used in the Dzogchen teachings as a symbol of primordial purity. Joyful children radiate this purity and spontaneity, free from conceptual thought, but it is not integrated or stabilized as true realization; that only comes after the conceptual mind has developed and been transcended by spiritual practice.
