وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ "And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds." This blog is dedicated to the Man who was supremely successful in every walk of life , he was husband, father, friend, merchant, leader, politician, warrior and the Prophet. The man who was able to bring the biggest revolution in human life and as Almighty has called him with this name in this blog we also name him رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ mercy on humanity in life and hereafter i.e "Mercy On Both World"

Prophet peace be upon him started conveying the divine message of peace "Islam", and of Oneness of Allah (God), لا إله إلا الله starting from his own family the sons of his grandfather Abd Mutalib, beloved prophet peace be upon him invited all of his uncles and aunts (sons and daughter of Abd Mutalib) for a gathering, to address them although his family didn't responded to his call but his uncle Abu Talib ensure him of his protection against any evil desire of Quraish.

   After this meeting, one day Allah send a revelation on him and ordered him to warn his closest relative, tribes and his people.

  ▬▬▬▬▬▬◘◘◘◘وَأَنذِرْ عَشِيرَتَكَ الْأَقْرَبِينَ ◘◘◘◘▬▬▬▬▬▬

And warn, [O Muhammad], your closest kindred. [1]

 One day in morning, Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) ascended on Mount As-Safa and started to call: "O Bani Fihr! O Bani 'Adi (two clans of Quraish)." Many people gathered and those who could not, sent somebody to report to them. Abu Lahab was also present. The prophet (peace be upon him) said: "You see, if I were to tell you that there were some horsemen in the valley planning to raid you, will you believe me?" They said: "Yes, we have only witnessed the truth from you." He said" "I am a Warner to you before a severe torment." Abu Lahab promptly replied "Perish you all the day! Have you summoned us for such a thing?" The verse were immediately revealed on that occasion.

May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he. [2]

Muslim reported another part of this story on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be please with him) - He said: "When the following verses were revealed:  

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ وَأَنذِرْ عَشِيرَتَكَ الْأَقْرَبِينَ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

 Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) called all the people of Quraish: so they gathered and he gave them a general warning. Then he made a particular reference to certain tribes, and said: "O Quraish, rescue yourselves from the fire; O people of Bani Ka'b , rescue yourself from the fire, O Fatimah, daughter of Muhammad, rescue yourself from the fire,for I have no power to protect you from Allah in anything except that I would sustain relationship with you."

   Murad Wilfried Hofmann (born in 1931 in Aschaffenburg, Germany) is a prominent German diplomat and author. He has authored several books on Islam, including Journey to Makkah and Islam

  Hofmann was born a Catholic, but converted to Islam in 1980. He studied at Harvard University. His conversion was met with some controversy due to his high profile in the German government. He converted to Islam as a result of what he witnessed in the Algerian War of Independence, his fondness for Islamic art, and what he saw as contradictions in Paulist Christian doctrine.

   In 1978, pop artist Cat Stevens gave up super-stardom when he embraced Islam and became known as Yusuf Islam. He returned to the studio in the 1990s, recording several albums of Islamic songs, known as nasheed.

I did not come into contact with any Muslim before I embraced Islam. I read the Qur'an first and realized no person is perfect, Islam is perfect, and if we imitate the conduct of the Holy Prophet... we will be successful.

In 1099, the Crusaders conquered Jerusalem and massacred its Muslim and Jewish inhabitants indiscriminately, in the name of the gentle Jesus. At that time, 400 years into the occupation of Palestine by the Muslims, Christians were still the majority in the country. Throughout this long period, no effort was made to impose Islam on them. Only after the expulsion of the Crusaders from the country, did the majority of the inhabitants start to adopt the Arabic language and the Muslim faith - and they were the forefathers of most of today's Palestinians. There no evidence whatsoever of any attempt to impose Islam on the Jews. As is well known, under Muslim rule the Jews of Spain enjoyed a bloom the like of which the Jews did not enjoy anywhere else until almost our time. Poets like Yehuda Halevy wrote in Arabic, as did the great Maimonides. In Muslim Spain, Jews were ministers, poets, scientists. In Muslim Toledo, Christian, Jewish and Muslim scholars worked together and translated the ancient Greek philosophical and scientific texts. That was, indeed, the Golden Age. How would this have been possible, had the Prophet decreed the "spreading of the faith by the sword"? What happened afterwards is even more telling. When the Catholics reconquered Spain from the Muslims, they instituted a reign of religious terror. The Jews and the Muslims were presented with a cruel choice: to become Christians, to be massacred or to leave. And where did the hundreds of thousand of Jews, who refused to abandon their faith, escape? Almost all of them were received with open arms in the Muslim countries. The Sephardi ("Spanish") Jews settled all over the Muslim world, from Morocco in the west to Iraq in the east, from Bulgaria (then part of the Ottoman Empire) in the north to Sudan in the south. Nowhere were they persecuted. They knew nothing like the tortures of the Inquisition, the flames of the auto-da-fe, the pogroms, the terrible mass-expulsions that took place in almost all Christian countries, up to the Holocaust. Why? Because Islam expressly prohibited any persecution of the "peoples of the book". In Islamic society, a special place was reserved for Jews and Christians. They did not enjoy completely equal rights, but almost. They had to pay a special poll tax, but were exempted from military service - a trade-off that was quite welcome to many Jews. It has been said that Muslim rulers frowned upon any attempt to convert Jews to Islam even by gentle persuasion - because it entailed the loss of taxes. Every honest Jew who knows the history of his people cannot but feel a deep sense of gratitude to Islam, which has protected the Jews for fifty generations, while the Christian world persecuted the Jews and tried many times "by the sword" to get them to abandon their faith. The story about "spreading the faith by the sword" is an evil legend, one of the myths that grew up in Europe during the great wars against the Muslims - the reconquista of Spain by the Christians, the Crusades and the repulsion of the Turks, who almost conquered Vienna. I suspect that the German Pope, too, honestly believes in these fables. That means that the leader of the Catholic world, who is a Christian theologian in his own right, did not make the effort to study the history of other religions. Why did he utter these words in public? And why now? There is no escape from viewing them against the background of the new Crusade of Bush and his evangelist supporters, with his slogans of "Islamofascism" and the "global war on terror" - when "terrorism" has become a synonym for Muslims. For Bush's handlers, this is a cynical attempt to justify the domination of the world's oil resources. Not for the first time in history, a religious robe is spread to cover the nakedness of economic interests; not for the first time, a robbers' expedition becomes a Crusade. The speech of the Pope blends into this effort. Who can foretell the dire consequences?
