campaign concept: main baddie's sole motivation is to commit acts of villainy "to keep the gods from abandoning the world." burning villages, creating political strife, kidnapping loved ones, classic stuff that becomes increasingly more bizarre and avant garde, all to entertain the gods so they'll stick around. they never elaborate on this until the very last fight, where it's revealed that the "gods" are the players and DM. the baddie's sole motivation is to keep the campaign going.
