Cardboard Box Decorations: Designs Made Simple
Decorating can be fun and easy but the one thing about decorating is that you are sure to pass time. As America's favorite way to spend moments with creativity, cardboard box design is a favorite. Let's take a look at some key steps about how to design and decorate a cardboard box.
To start there are a few supplies and packaging supplies you are going to need. The first supply is obviously a box in itself. The size and the dimensions are up to your individual choice but make sure it is something that you can work with. Wrapping paper is needed. It can be any kind of wrapping paper. Next up you will need a tape dispenser with tape. It really doesn't matter what density of tape you buy just as long as it is a tape dispenser with the tape already. Some people prefer a double stick tape but then again it is up to your individual choice. You're going to need a good pair of scissors as well as a ruler. These are the basic essentials. Let's take a look at how to work them.
When you take your box the first thing you want to do is measure the distance from top to bottom, off the known as the height. You take the wrapping paper and cut a strip of it preferably 1 inch wide. Once the cutting is completed, hold the top down to the bottom edges. Once that step is finished you are going to take the tape dispenser and apply to tape both to the top and the bottom edges. Be careful to do this a little bit at a time. Laying down the paper along the edges is what follows naturally so that the paper will stick to the tape. Next, you want to overlap the paper three times or more, the choice is yours, but overlap the paper and make sure it is on the edge. After you add extra tape from top to bottom. You are ready for the next box.
As to the second piece, the other part of the Box the bottom has a solid color already. So it is great how it is, remember, both pieces came together. You want to decorate the lid and the best way to do that is to lay the lid top down on the wrapping paper. Cut the wrapping paper so that I cover the top all four sides and you wrap the inside of the lid with the paper after you've done that stuff you want to apply the tape dispenser along the edges of the long side of the box attached the paper to it very simple stop. Next you are going to turn the little round to the narrow end and fold like you would forward a package and put a diagonal crease along the bottom. If you want to add an extra layer of security you can open the folds and staple on the edge of the lid and then refold the ends and the creases last. Make sure you do the same process on the other end. With the scissors, you want to clip the top of the corners and add tape to the inside of the lid. These are some simple steps to give you some decorating designs for your cardboard box.
