“It’s been so long since we did this.” Yugyeom sighed.
Looking up from your textbook, you raised an eyebrow. “Don’t tell me that the infamous Kim Yugyeom actually missed studying...”
“It wasn't the studying I missed...” Yugyeom mumbled.
“Nothing.” he smiled. “I guess you just make things easy to understand.”
“Well I would hope so... I wouldn't be a very good tutor if i didn’t, now would I?”
Nodding, Yugyeom chuckled to himself before returning to his problem set.
Yugyeom couldn’t have imagined that almost flunking Calculus would be the best thing to happen to him his senior year of high school. After a yelling from his mother and some scolding from his teacher, it was decided that you were to be his tutor in order to help him get his grades up. The only problem was, you were a little too good at your task. Yugyeom had been worried about the day that you’d stop tutoring him.
“Did you figure it out yet?” You asked, perking up a bit to see his notes.
“Still thinking.” He gave you a small smile before shutting his book closed.
“What did you do that for?” You asked, confused.
“My brain is tired. How about we go out?”
Taken aback by his brazen request you lowered your voice to a whisper, “But that means that we’d be hanging out... alone... outside of school.”
“That’s kind of the point...” Yugyeom trailed off. “Unless you don’t want to-”
“No!” You yelled a little too enthusiastically. “I mean, no. I would like that.”
“Then let’s go!” Yugyeom winked, packing up his books and grabbing your hand.
