Initiating the Project – Fence

When you construct a fence first time then you need to identify what would be the useful items required in the project. The factors are mentioned below:

Tools: The tools are the necessary item for assessing the project and most of the people use to take it for rent and less amount of people buy it. Required tools are hammer, gas powered post hole and cordless drills are useful tools that everyone has it at home.  

Talent: Those who don’t want to stuck in this project; they hire a contractor for that because they have an expertise on completing this project in a timely manner. Some people do it by themselves as they know the process of installing it.

Fence – Choosing a Style

The process of selecting a fence is the most pleasurable aspect and the primary reason to construct a fence is the increase the attractiveness of a home. The first factor which takes time for the purchase decision is color. The color which is used to the exterior part of the house is the best option to select the color of fences.  Choosing the right color increases the appearance of the property and it also attracts the view of outsiders.  

Mostly, people use white color which is acceptable by everyone and it plausibly well maintained yet it faintly natural toned, weathered and fence has its own charm. All in all, I would recommend that white color is good for the fences because it gives an impression of cleanliness and gallant backdrop. But if the exterior color is white then it is better to use different color because it attracts the viewers as any color is match able with white color.

Ornamental Fences

Whatever their functional purpose, fences are also architecture or ornament. At the very least a fence can increase or lower property values. At the very best or worst it can add to or detract from the beauty of a house. To an architect, the most significant aspect of a fence might be that it defines a strong vertical plane. Think of a fence not as a two dimensional line marking off sections and borders on the flat grid of your site plan but as a solid slab enclosing and subdividing the volume of space surrounding your house.

In this sense, the plane of a fence acquires a dynamic. The use of border fencing to share or define space has already been remarked upon. Consider how the implied planes of the fence placed either side of a small house visually extent its mass toward the street, expanding its apparent size or how when a house is relatively close to the street.

Reinforcement

Selection of reinforcement is considered by their availability, easy handling, flexibility, spread ability etc. The selected reinforcements used in the study are as follows:

1) Chicken Mesh (Hexagonal Shape) 2) Sand Mesh (Hard Type) 3) Sand Mesh (Smooth Type)

Chicken mesh is a low carbon content steel. The wire size is 0.2 mm and distance between two wires in hexagon in 15mm. In sand mesh (hard type) the wires are hard and size of wire is 0.25 mm running both ways making space of 2 mm square. But in sand mesh (smooth type) the wires are smooth and flexible. The reinforcement mesh which was cut slightly less than the brick size is placed at the predetermined height. Another installment of soil paste was filled. The procedure is continued for the required number of reinforcement layers. Top soil should be trimmed and mould is lifted up by leaving two bricks on the floor. Similar procedure is followed for more number of bricks by the side of prepared bricks. For un-reinforced bricks only soil paste was pressed without reinforcement and bricks were prepared.
