I spent like thirty minutes sketching stick poses for the pacing that Jess was doing, and like 0 time on anything else bc its late. The shitty excuse for a vehicle for instance.

Also about Jess cussing? I dunno? I probably should have done “no heckin way” but it’s inktober s o o w/e

So because my no longer good friend @quesar42 decided to draw jarjar binks every day for inktober, I am getting back at him by continuing his webcomic @messaroundcomic for him. Both with original inktober no redo and slight digital touch up for actual readability. 

Mayhaps I will eventually be able to give characters the kind of physical space he can, but i doubt i can actually do that in a month’s time.

We do these “comic jams” in comics club. How it works is that the first person has like, 10 minutes to do the first panel, then it’s passed off to the right or left where another person does the next panel, so on and so on until you get six panels on a page. As a result you end up with hilarious shit like this

that took me a year and a half. quite the year and a half.

Have you seen the first page of this episode recently??? Man my art style was... undeveloped. Which makes sense, because I started this thing to get better at drawing and storytelling! I’ve gotten better at drawing since that first page back in Christmas 2014 (GEEZ) and hopefully my storytelling will get a lot better! Because, lemme tell you, little to none of this pilot was planed AND IT SHOWS. I’m doing more planning for the next(first) episode. I’ve done a little more planning for the next episode. It’ll be cool and cute, because what other stories do I want to tell. Also next episode won’t be full color. It’ll be greyscale, it’ll be fine, it’ll be more efficient for me.

Man! I wonder what I’ll be like by the end of next episode! I’ll be in college soon, how will that affect the whole comics thing. I’m going to art school, will that cause me to draw more? Ooh what if I can get someone in college to color for me.

No, anthony, don’t make friends exclusively to use them for personal gain. You gotta make friends to eat snacks with too.
