SCREAMS. I WOULD GIVE ANYTHING FOR AN OINGO BOINGO BROTHERS CENTRIC SPINOFF PLEAAASEEEE. OH MY GODDODODDDDDD

I genuinely think there's potential in the brothers getting a redemption arc of their own (and plenty of the other retired agents too! I mean we have CDDH for Hol Horse, so who's to say no one else can get one)

People cannot change overnight, that much is true... but people do change when, if constantly pressed into doing bad things, they choose to do good instead. In that regard I think a redemption of the brothers involing them realizing that Thoth saying something is going to happen doesn't mean it's going to happen in their favor. They choose selfless ways to fulfill what happens in Thoth even if it seems like it'll be to their detriment at first, but are later rewarded long-term for it! Almost like a reverse of what happened with the random guy that Oingo essentially mugged in the canon arc.

I may perhaps be biased as the self proclaimed Oingo liker but. Still. The thought crosses my mind frequently... the brothers as protagonists in their own story is just compelling to me.

Also, an unrelated addendum: I do hope me coloring the names makes submissions feel more whimsical! We need a bit more color in our lives sometimes. I do wonder how people make rainbow text, though... that always eludes me.

This is less of a confession and more like insane mental gymnastics headcanons chained together so bear with me for a bit

So, the Stand is a reflection of the user's soul. That much is obvious. That brings up an interesting implication for people who develop Stands that shapeshift the user themself: body dysmorphia so strong it started reflecting on their soul and manifesting into their Stand.

And so we reach the conclusion that Oingo is likely transgender (and Rubber Soul as well, but this ain't about him 😭)

And come to think of it, Oingo basically has the ability to change his entire body (height, weight, and smell!) and ONLY changes his face? The car segment of that arc is understandable, since he had to do it on the spot, but not the Maxim cafe segment. He had all the time in the world at that time for more than just his face and an apron. Either he's stupid or there's some other reason why he's refusing to change his body, like he already changed it into something he wanted and didn't want to alter it more.

And, it'd also explain the strange insistence of both Oingo and Boingo to call each other "brother" even if siblings just... don't constantly call out their relationship like that. It both solidifies their bond as brothers while also being a gender affirmation thing.

Day 7 | April 17th, 2026

I'm not gonna lie to you, today is one of those days where I'm not really motivated to keep posting. I was quite literally one step away from taking the blog down and retreating to main or whatever, but I feel like I'm not done with my mission.

This reminds me of that one verse from "Dream (Outro from Calamity)", after the 'this is the end of me' line. Not just in the "WOAHWOAHWOAH CJ REFERENCE?!?!?!" way, but in the sense that I feel like that theme of resilience and courage to keep pushing forward is genuinely pertinent to the situation.

Even if I get overwhelmingly frustrated when my projects related to CJ don't work out, I still believe that there is good to be found in what I do.

To the people who check in on the account by sending asks, reblogging, liking, and boosting: thank you. I appreciate it deeply, and you're helping me gain a reason to keep posting. ♡

“Patchwork Doorstop Paranoia Daydream” - the song - is a very curious production to me, and I don’t think we give it enough love as a fandom. I feel like I don’t make many interactive posts for all of you either, and that makes me sad, ‘cos everyone’s got so many cool ideas.

That's me. I'm the one who made the "stageplay" """AU""". Let's see what I've got to say about this one.

I found out about Patchwork Doorstop Paranoia Daydream, I assume, the same way everyone else did from the Patchwork Doorstop Paranoia album. It was pretty slow for me to pick up on at first but it became part of my regular listening playlist (as with most of Chonny's other songs for me).

On that note, haha! Yes. It resonates with me closely. I'm not elaborating. That's too much information.

I hate to make a comparison between two amazing artists, but I'd say it's like Spoken For in Chonny Jash flavor.

I wouldn't exactly say I have a Jashling in the standard sense for this song (as in a wholly original character), but here is an OC dressed in theme of it.

Above is Jude. An ex-sona, but she's not the first of her kind. "Same old story, same old bullshit," as the song says. Being painfully self-aware of the nature of your existence doesn't really bode well for... anybody, really, especially for sonas who couldn't be fit to be the representative anymore. And yet she still must live on. She still must fulfill the purpose of her existence despite everything being intentionally stacked against her.

Anyway, yeah. There's my silly (albeit vague) Patchwork yap.

I hope this post gets more interactions as well :0 I'd love to see more PDPD interpretations...
