One thing I don’t like about Nightbringer is how they portray the revelation why Barbatos dislikes Solomon as a joke.

Barbatos literally saved Solomon’s life, and Solomon, at least, from Barbatos’s perspective, doesn’t seem to care all that much. Not listing Barbatos as the first or even one of the first demons he wants to make a pact with demonstrates how Solomon doesn’t view what Barbatos did as anything special, which is so mean lol.

I feel like it makes sense why Barbatos would be hurt, but the scene in Nightbringer is played off like Solomon simply hurt Barbatos’s ego. It doesn’t help that the game plays clown music during that part 😭😭
