The three tiefling siblings: Lia, Rolan and baby Cal

Some headcanons I have about them:

Lia is the middle one and Cal the baby brother. We have no confirmation of their ages but Cal seems to be very innocent to me, so he's the youngest lol.

We know that canonically Rolan isn't blood while Cal and Lia are. I hc that Rolan sort of was found by Cal and Lia's mom and was adopted by her. He never called her "mom" while she was still alive, more like "miss _____".

Their mom was busy working a lot of hours so Rolan took care of the siblings: he cooked for them, bathed them, etc. Yes, I'm diagnosing Rolan with Elder Sister Syndrome 🫵

Mom died when Rolan wasn't even of age, like at 16 or 17. Rolan probably had to do some odd jobs since he was 14 to support the family but by the time she passed away, he had to find a more sustantial job.

I love how flame, barbarian and kindness fits in her. What can be more cute than flaming tiefling-barbarian who loves her teddy bear?

Actually I wanted to make the first fanart of Karlach is too epic but...seems I really wanted something soft.

Today when I was going through the dialogue files again I discovered there actually are lines that are supposed to trigger when you use Rolan's Firestorm in the final battle, but for some reason they just don't actually ever trigger? At least not in any of the (six) times I've done that fight.

(it still makes me proud of our little wizard to read these, though 🥲)

Taishyr and their previous adventuring party

Luca, wood elf paladin, was celebrating the completion of his first successful mercenary contract when he got dragged into the mess, he tries to be the party's leader, but often gets bogged down by his planning

Sadie, tiefling rogue/fighter, having washed out of Hellrider training, she tried to enlist in the City Guard, then the Harpers, then the Flaming Fist, being told she lacked the skill each time. She remains very ambitious, yet is always ready to help others.

Taishyr, drow monk, got roped into helping pull Avernus out of the hells while delivering an important package from their family in Luskan to their cousin in Baldur's gate. Their level head helps keep the rest of the party focused, even if they can be a bit impulsive at times.

Teigan, drow sorcerer, Taishyr's cousin and a magic user of some prowess, she pulls her magic directly from the Shadowfell, fitting for someone whose family has worshipped Shar for generations. She is as cold as she is beautiful, concerned only for the benefit of her and hers.

Korae, half half-orc half elf fighter/warlock, he was a common sellsword before everything, but Zariel took interest in him, as part of the party's deal with her to free Elturel, he made a pact with her, borrowing celestial and fiendish powers for a price he has told no one about.
