Dethklok's idea of scaring Toki as a part of his birthday surprise was terrible but...

Can we talk about how earnestly happy they look about it I mean?

Then Pickles, Pickles who gets playful about the fact that they tricked Toki

Even Murderface doesn't seem to be scowling as usual, he has the gentlest smile on his face about it

Lastly, Skwisgaar is borderline euphoric the surprise went well. It feels surreal to see this much happiness in his face ngl

There's no malice in here, no backhanded intent to hurt. These guys are a bunch of idiots but they really wanted to give Toki a good time for his birthday and that makes me tender 😭 they love him so much

My favorite thing about Murderface and his hero complex is….he doesn’t do things for praise and attention. He saved people in Black Fire Upon Us partially cause there was a hot chick he wanted to go out, but mostly cause he gets fixated on weird shit and genuinely wanted to save people.

He jumped in front of the loin extractor as somebody else pointed out and the thing is….there was no way he fucking knew what that was, he saw a thing that looked dangerous that was going to hit Nathan and just fucking dove in front of him.

Then saving Charles life, the fact he clearly had thoughts about how he hadn’t thought this through at all, but I don’t think he regretted doing it. He had an impulse moment and one friend had already died and I am sure as fuck Murderface blames himself for Knubbler dying despite the fact we saw him fight against Salacia and try to protect them all, but Salacia forced him.

But my point is he doesn’t do shit to get praise. He just genuinely does care about people and he doesn’t want to see people die, he doesn’t want his friends to die. Once you get past the negativity he’s genuinely a selfless character most times which I find super interesting.
