Trying to explain this in English.
So basically before I went to see LOH2 the second time I was scrolling AO3 and saw Nezha/Wuxian. I was not very understanding. Then I came back to write my analysis/dump and I sort of got it.
When Wuxian asked him if it's 'their' plan for Wuxian to stay here, Wuxian was convincing Nezha, when Nezha had already said no. A) Not everyone talks to Nezha like that, in fact nobody does. B) Wuxian doesn't convince. Wuxian gives in and backs off. We see him do it in 1.
Add those together and it's, Wuxian tried to convince him because he knows Nezha would listen and Nezha would understand.
And Nezha does. And they carry out that whole act of fighting so that Chinian would allow Wuxian to go. A rare case of Wuxian communicating and succeeding.
Then there's the 'Do you think it's me'. Because the fact that Nezha intervened and said Wuxian could stay with him should be clear enough that Nezha doesn't think it's him.
Contrary to common belief, Wuxian is extremely sensitive to kindness. It's like how he answered Jiulao when Jiulao was like well you're thriving and he's like don't worry. Wuxian explicitly answers the feelings/thoughts behind words and not words themselves. It's why he pauses a bit when Luye says visit me when you have time. He really knows.
I would know that Nezha showing up and Nezha intervening meant he didn't think Wuxian was behind this. He should know too. But he asked, 'Do you think it's me'. So it's personal. He cares if Nezha thinks it could be him.
Similarly there's '(Of course) I know'. Wuxian doesn't talk like that. Best way to describe it is childish, as in don't treat me like a kid because I understand what's going on.
One last thing in LOH2 about them is when they are acting that fight. Nezha says you are taking this too seriously, and Wuxian says or else how could I defend you. The One Most Emotional Line Of Wuxian TM. HMCH said later on that this fight made Wuxian excited as he has not been in a long time.
They put want into this. They are solving a crisis, but they are enjoying this one bit. The fight is an act but others don't know that, yet it is also not an act because they are serious and they enjoy it. And Wuxian is not a sensual person, so for him to want some sort of sensual experience is just rare and special.
And Nezha tried to find him at the end and was disappointed that he left already. Nobody should believe a word out of Jiulao's mouth that it was for games. Or at least not video games.
If you look back at LOH1, Nezha, upon knowing that Wuxian went in the [idk how they translated it], said that it was impulsive and not like him. And said that he would go in too because Wuxian couldn't win.
Three hundred years ago Nezha wasn't willing to enter anyone's spiritual realm (God the translation...), and thirty something years ago he stayed back as others (including Wuxian) fought Naga in his [can't be bothered to know its translation].
He doesn't care for Fengxi, as in it wouldn't be a problem, and that's true, but still.
Also I keep thinking about how he told Chinian, as he watched them fight Naga, that 'in his opinion' 'he would say' Wuxian is stronger (than Xuanli). Because Nezha rarely ever adds 'I think'.
What I'm trying to say is they trust each other and they understand each other and they care about each other. This trust is crucial to how the crisis is solved in LOH2. And neither of them would trust just anyone. There's like three thousand years of age gap between them, and no one just trusts someone with that age gap out of nowhere either.
