So I work with kids, little ones and teenagers alike, so I feel an authority to say that the kids are certifiably dumb. And I don’t mean this to insult, but to call to action because the level of incompetence that these children display in class is astounding. I work with 7-9 year olds that can’t read 4-letter words. I sub teenagers who are so apathetic or angry that they refuse to write a single paragraph in an hour long period, and that’s if they even show up.

I’ve seen that its not the teachers. There’s only oh so much you can do to help in a school setting. People really need to look out for the children in their lives because the level of illiteracy and failure to engage with these kids is devastating. And we should all be embarrassed that we’ve allowed it to happen.

I haven't had a tumblr in years but here I am. I'm over it. Truly and thoroughly over it. The intentions are blatant, and it angers me that so many are just going to take this as a win and carry on like it's normal. This is a clear PR stunt at this point, to reinvent Trump as a savior of free speech to those who aren't already indoctrinated by him. The entire anti-tiktok smear campaign was championed by him in the first place during his first term, and now that it's won over the young male votes he sees it as a tool. Don't fall for his tactics. Think critically and stay connected.
