Did somebody say “post your drafts”? Well, here is the one and only post of mine that I, for whatever reason, deemed unworthy to publish! Here it is, unearthed after 9 years. I can only imagine it is a Hotline Bling reference? Which…. didn’t age particularly well, did it!!

ANYWAY, hello, darlings, it’s been quite a while. How is everyone doing? MARVELOUSLY, I’m sure. I know I said eons ago that I wouldn’t post on this blog anymore, but with Undertale’s 10th anniversary coming up, I felt obliged to post once again.

If you didn’t know, Toby Fox created a webpage to submit your favorite memories of Undertale. My first thought was of how memorable it was to have run this blog when I did, so I mentioned it in my memory. It felt fitting to come back and say something.

I’m not sure if anyone will see this, but just know I love you. You matter. Keep on fighting, because there will always be things on this earth to live for, and there will always be at least one person to live for: YOU!

message to my lovely followers...

i may never be active on this blog again. i'm incredibly sorry, and i thank my wonderful followers for your support and kindness. i had a marvelous time running this blog. you all inspired me, and i loved helping in any way i could. just knowing that my words could have helped someone when they were struggling makes this blog worth it and gives me hope and happiness, despite the fact that i no longer am in the undertale fandom. if there is ever a day i feel so inclined and have the time, i will answer the questions i've had sitting in my inbox for quite some time now. if you have something pressing to ask me, i implore you to take it to my main blog, hugerez, where i will definitely answer it, albeit not quite in the voice of mettaton. (though when i gave advice i never quite went out of my way to type or act much different than i normally do) thank you, everybody. you're all stars ✨ 😘

I honestly don't think I'm ever going to do anything worthwhile with my life. Everything right now is so terrible. I'm being bullied. I don't enjoy things I used to. I'm not eating. I just want to leave this world. I don't want to be seen again.

You have so much living left to do, dear! I believe you are more than what you’ve been through. I think you should look into getting a therapist, or psychiatrist. Depression meds may help you! It’s a process, though.

You can’t possibly know that you’re NEVER going to do something worthwhile. And who decides what is “worthwhile” anyway? I played video games all morning, and it made me happy, so I say that’s worthwhile. If you want to go outside and ignore your to-do list, but you’re loving the breeze and the sun feels great on your skin? That’s worthwhile. Your life isn’t set in stone, and you can make changes based on your happiness! Whether or not your life meets someone else’s standards is irrelevant. You do what you want to do, and you change what you want to change. THEN you decide what’s worthwhile, and what you want to live for. 

You’re loved! I hope things start looking up. You have so much to you.

I really don't want to go to my new school due to me absolutely messing up everything every school year and the boy who is bullying me. Thinking about 10th grade is really getting me down. I'm such a baby. I don't know what to do at this point.

Hi, darling. What you need is a good support system. It’s ok to mess up. Especially when you’re young. Take every opportunity to learn! Maybe in the future, you’ll know enough that you won’t mess up in the same way again.

A good support system can include your family and friends, but I would also suggest seeing your school counselor. They will likely have some resources and advice for you, and can even help you with the bullying problem. 

You’re not a baby. Being a teenager is a really hard job that no one gives anyone credit for. At this point, it’s time to think about yourself. Pay attention to your needs. You have to constantly remind yourself that this year will be better! This is the year you make positive changes to your life that will last until you graduate and beyond. I have faith in you, dear! Have faith in yourself too!

I cant get over my fear of being forgotten and when i meet more people i just have a feeling they would forget about me and it keeps me up at night most of the time what should i do ?

Dear, just remember, you are more than how you exist to other people. You are a wonderful person, so anyone who forgets that is someone who isn’t worth your time. 

And also remember that friendship is a two-way street! You can’t expect people to make effort if you don’t also make effort. When you meet new people, make sure you try and see them again, or if you have their number/tumblr/facebook/etc, send them a message! And if even after trying to reconnect, they still forget you, then forget THEM.

it's okay to be afraid to step out of your comfort zone! remember you are in control, and if you want to back out, that is ok and you are no less in control than before.
