One time I came home from uni very upset and my younger siblings asked what's wrong. I said that mutated flies in our lab escaped because someone broke their jar. I didn't even realise how scary it sounded to them until I saw their faces lmao. I was upset because we were short on said flies (they don't reproduce very well) and my siblings thought that some crazy radioactive fly monsters escaped and we are all fucked now. im probably getting discharged from the hospital back to the skilled nursing facility within the next day or two. that means i need money for food because they cant accommodate my diet.
i also need help affording a bed that raises / reclines for when i finally get to go home, as my last abdominal surgery left me bedbound and unable to properly sit up on my own. my mom is too scared of potential bedbugs to let me get a used hospital bed so im probably gonna have to buy a non hospital bed that does that. so yeah.
things are really hard right now and i feel like im dying because no one will properly treat the infections i keep getting. my belly is still cut wide open and has been for three months and they haven't fixed my perforated bowel yet and may not for several more months. please help me, i feel like i cant do this anymore

My friend Wesal (@deemagaza) doesn't speak English. The only way she can find her way around the English internet is by using Google Translate or ask others like me for help. It is very difficult for her.
Yet she has no choice but to do so for her daughter Farah, almost sixteen now, who is autistic and has a kidney problem that - without treatment - makes her deficient in potassium, which, if it becomes too severe, can lead to cardiac arrest.
^ Farah spends most of her days like this now, feeling uncomfortable in her body, but not understanding why.
Farah's medication has become unavailable in Gaza, which has endangered her life and means she has to be treated in the hospital, which is costly and where they are running out of resources as well. Farah's case has now been referred to the WHO to be transferred abroad. If the opportunity for evacuation arises, we must make sure the funds are available!
