I'm back!! Trying to get back into art. It's been a crazy year. Hoping to be able to use Tumblr as an outlet for my art WIPs and not instagram. It'll feel fresh and more personal I feel.

The Web We Weave

She's finally finished! My first 2025 piece--dedicated to my online friends.

Without the internet we wouldn't have been able to go through the tough times like covid or feeling alone at times when we're in the dark.

I had a lot of fun drawing this. I used a lot of symbolism in this piece. Can you spot all of them?

Finally started some line art work when I was on my flight to Florida. I’ve been in an art rut lately so it was nice to be able to actually enjoy drawing with this piece.

An old coworker of mine tagged me on Facebook of this drawing her granddaughter made of me. It melts my heart that I can inspire this young child that I've never met before. 🥹

I am thankful not only for the friends I have in real life but also for the friends I've met online through art websites and video games. If it weren't for the internet, I wouldn't have received the support and love that helped me get through tough times, especially when I was alone after moving away from my family and friends. Even when I'm feeling my most antisocial, being able to play games with friends always lifts my mood.

Don't forget to say thank you to your friends and family. We never know how much time we have left to share with them on this earth.

Here's a drawing of my online friend, Fairy, that I made a year ago. It’ll soon be six years since her passing. We played a lot of Splatoon and Fortnite together, and I am so thankful I was able to say goodbye to her before she passed. 🥀💙
