In my area of region 2 we got at least 2 inches of rain yesterday. So thankful for the rain and good crops this year.
A producer's stand of beans around Laddonia weren't looking too good in spots so we got some samples and I took them up to the University of Missouri for some testing Monday.
Had a great day at the MFA training camp today. It was really informational and meeting all the speakers made it even more worthwhile to go to.
I got to tour the Palmyra fertilizer warehouse Tuesday. Sorry, no pictures were allowed in the warehouse or of the equipment other than the barge.

The display I helped put up at the Hannibal store the last two days.
I got to spend Friday in the credit department with Mr. H.C. Russell. I got to see where they used to keep all the old files.
Iāve been riding around with David Imhoff the last two days. David is the SER person for Region 2. Iāve gotten to put up a lot of safety stickers mainly on grain binsā¦.. Iāve learned to dislike corrugated steel while trying to get the bubbles out of the stickers.
Finished budgeting yesterday
Ran into Teresa Carlson and three other interns today at the Mexico store. We toured the Mexico store and then got to go out with Teresa on a delivery.
Had a great time Tuesday helping load up Arial applicators with fungicide and insecticide. I had watched them fly on product before but before Tuesday I'd never been up close and personal with any of it.
Making progress today
Went and looked at a field of milo today that had turned white in spots.
I'm at my hometown MFA exchange this week. With wheat harvest in full swing the new bins are being used quite well.

I had quite a neat experience Friday. I went to a field day in Laddonia MO where they presented data about various nitrogen applications and soil health. The coolest thing about it was that they used a sample that my mom helped to get while she was getting her Masters in agronomy. It goes to show your work does matter, and so knows, it may be used even twenty years down the road.
