I love how, in episode 129 where Haibara is introduced, Shinichi has this moment of being super bad ass-- he gives his (child) name to people who just tried to assassinate a child, leans against a doorway, smirks, taunts, does a couple super kicks.

And then this normal girl they all met her earlier that day in school stops dissociating and fires a gun at someone's head

Reminder that the Detective Boys' response to this is not that they almost witnessed murder but that Haibara is cool as fuck
