Music First Skool presents: Brand Me Silly! A creative marketing workshop.

Music First Skool workshops presents: Brand Me Silly. Participate in a cooperative learning environment with like minded interesting individuals like you! we are proud to present the next logical step after learning how to create your own electronic productions. In this course you will learn about the proper ways to brand yourself, figuring out your market, niche and how you stand out against your competition. We will cover Press-Kits, what do they look like, what should they have and why they are important. You will also learn about the various Social Media Platforms how they work and why you should have many of them. Through activities you will practice fun and creative marking techniques that get people interested in your brand.You will also learn how to create and maintain a loyal fan base that is interested and engaging all while growing your brand. This course is for: Musicians, Singers, Djs, Promoters, Producers that are trying to grow their fans base and create more opportunities for work and building connections.  starting May 1st 2014 AUDIO FOR ELECTRONIC PRODUCTION WORKSHOP Participate in a cooperative learning environment. Get the basic knowledge you will need to get started producing electronic music in a production studio surrounded by production tools inside an awesome venue for recording. Follow your independent projects trough this workshops as you are being part of this network of information. Participants are allowed to work in different stations and different platforms while being able to collaborate. registration: [email protected] There is also a pay what you can bursary, please be in touch if you need to pay less then the full fee. May 1st 6:00PM-9:00 PM Fruity loops tips and tricks, join us for our first platform and get your initial sample pack to start creating from the first day! Personal projects are welcome to be shared in this first session, Instructor will advise and distribute the tasks for each participants throughout the workshops. May 7th 6:00PM-9:00 PM Recording with your DAW (Cubase, Ableton, reaper and fruity loops) making a beat, sample your beats!. Live performance practice, production and microphone tips for your recording. May 14th 6:00 PM-9:00 PM Maschine and live set ups Arrangements and sound design workshop, how to collaborate live using different platforms Depth,width and characteristics of your sound. May 21st 6:00 PM-9:00 PM Mixing workshop Participants will go trough the mixing process experiencing different genres. Participants are encouraged to bring the projects they are working on, if not one project will be assigned. May 24th 2:30 PM- 5:00 PM Collaborative working space will be provided for participants to develop their final project being a mix, live show or showcase. During this day the instructor will be sharing different information to every student regarding the project selected by the participant. May 28th Student showcase 6:00 PM-9:00 PM Cost: $175
