@mhx-ver-ke // is a sad crockpot:
"...Do you hate it? Do you hate it like I do?"
She didn't reply initially, instead stepping closer to him from the side, as if to face him head on. She didn't. Still keeping off to the side of the blue reploid, she stooped herself a bit to drew her face close to him.
Ten loomed in as if she were going to make contact in some manner - the head, the cheek, somewhere.... but stopped. She watched him with her golden tinted gaze quietly. As if looking for something.
She always did strange things like that. Strange movements and unusual mannerisms that always hinted she was no robotic in any fashion.
"You had me fooled the first time," she remarked. "With your stoic expression and toneless words. Programmed - as you tried to deflect it as."
... A kiosk...
One could take her words as accusatory, but nothing in her voice reflected as such. No scorn to cast from her words. None.
"There is no choice afforded to you," she spoke up again. "In actuality, there is... but you won't consider to take the alternative. As the consequences of that are far worse than what you've actually chosen to do. .... I see, Maverick Hunter."
Ten offered nothing further, and proceeded back with her silent observation again. She hadn't directly replied to him, but she saw him. Though his metal plating and armors and sleek vehicles.
Ten saw him, and those bitter, biting claws that wracked at the walls of his most vulnerable parts. She was intimately familiar with such things.
Oh, indeed, she was familiar.
Her head jerked suddenly as if she made to move away. Her forehead bopped on the polished red gem set right above in his helmet as she drew back.
Had it been intentional, or a mere accidental contact?
X..? "...." How are you going to respond?
Not with his buster. He can't see her as his enemy. Not when she helped him when they couldn't. He doesn't know what she is, but he knows that she's not his enemy or even considered a Maverick.
Ten was just simply Ten.
"I have seen so many people die. So many of my friends turned to enemies, so many of them falling and sacrificing themselves to allow me to stop Sigma and whatever evil afflicts Humans and Reploids. Together, separate, any sort."
His teal hue glanced at her golden eyes, feeling them judging his past and his present.
"I want all of this fighting to end. Truly, I do...but I will not sit by if Innocents gets hurt. No matter how many times I beg and plead for them to stop...but in the end, bullets worked better than words...I hate that."
His eyes glance down, looking ashamed of what he is. So many problems started because of him, directly or indirectly.
"...I was built for battle...but I don't want to fight anymore."
Dr. Light built X to be a superior version of his son Rock, allowing him to have more human traits and learning...yet he was still built to combat Dr. Wily's scheme of world domination and any other harmful forces.
A warrior striving for peace.
