I can picture Jane asking Joyce for help to make the mug and when Hopper opens it and sees the mug he can’t help but tear up. He doesn’t notice that the letters aren’t perfect but all he can see is that Jane his daughter cared enough to make him the mug. He will cherish this mug forever and proudly display it for the world too see. ( I want a Jopper fan fic of this now, like Jane trying to figure out what she wants to get Hopper for his birthday ) 

( I love how this turned out and I can’t get over how 80′s the colors turned out, the lighting doesn’t look that bad for bullshitting the whole thing. This drawing I forced myself to actually include a background and usually I hate drawing backgrounds but this one I had a lot of fun with. )
