(Just visiting, huh?) “Oh, I see.” She quietly said back, a tad disappointed that this meant she wasn’t getting a case. “So you know some other defense attorney’s then? I… guess we are, but I’d say prosecutors are moreso.”

(After all, Mr. Payne and Mr. Edgeworth sure are.)

“My older brother recently received his attorney’s badge.  Though he’s a lot more boring than his colleagues.  I’m studying to be a prosecutor myself.”

"That would explain it. Boring...? With all the unique faces I've seen lately, I could use seeing someone more 'boring'." She laughed slightly, half joking. "O-Oh! Well um, you'll certainly fit in, I think. Two brothers, one as a defense attorney and one soon to be a prosecutor. That'll be something."

"Uh... hello, Pearl!" Mia had paused before saying so, making it fairly clear she was taken aback. She was slightly used to it now, these time paradoxes, but... well, it would take more time for her to be accustomed to it.

This guy was... kind of intimidating looking. He had an interesting look to him; much like others Mia had met. Although she was a tad wary of him, nonetheless, Mia smiled at him. "Welcome, can I help you with anything?"

Mia was about to greet the man, when she caught herself staring. Quickly stopping that, she coughed to clear her throat before speaking. "W-Welcome! What can I do for you?"

"...I was just wandering around the place when I came here. I'm Mia Fey. You are?"

Mia was walking around, taking a tiny break from her work, when she almost bumped into someone. The person had a unique look to them, and they appeared to have some kind of interesting 'profession'. Mia thought she'd go ahead and say something. "Hi there!"

Mia got up from her seat to greet the man who walked into the office. She studied his appearance briefly, as she walked over to him.

(Well, this guy has an interesting look to him. In the music industry, I guess?) Mia smiled,”Welcome! Is there anything I can help you with?”

“I was simply visiting, fräulein,” he said with a grin.  ”It’s… always interesting to meet defense attorneys.  Such a colorful bunch.”

Mia had come across another unfamiliar face. She wasn't sure if he was a lawyer or anything from his appearance --although she thought he sure did look professional-- but figured she should ask if he needed a defense attorney, just to be sure.

Dahlia heard someone behind her. It made her feel quite uncomfortable so she turned to see who it was. She was surprised when she saw her cousin standing there.

(What’s she doing here…?)

“…Mia.”

When she had caught sight of that unforgettable red hair, Mia had followed her. As she was about to finally say something, Dahlia had turned around, facing her.

"...Hello to you as well, Ms. Hawthorne."

At first she thought she was just imagining her, or maybe this was someone else, but there was no way; this had to be the actual Dahlia Hawthorne, in the flesh, didn't it? (How can this be...? Knowing her way of charming others, they probably cut her sentence, didn't they. I guess I may as well start out by asking that.)

"How are you out of jail?"

It took Mia a moment to gather her thoughts, as she blankly stared at the little girl. She seemed familiar, yet not familiar… then it soon hit her; this was Morgan’s daughter, wasn’t it? Although Mia was confused why she appeared older than she should, she smiled as she greeted her.

“Pearl! Pleasant surprise, seeing you.” When was the last time she got to see family members? It’d been far too long. “What brings you all the way here?” I’ll just ignore how this doesn’t seem right. For now, anyway.

Unlike Mia, Pearl was already quite familiar with the irregularities of the time line of others so seeing Mia at this age didn’t bother her. She was merely excited that she was able to see her in general after so long. What’s more, she was able to see her as herself and not through channeling. That made her all the more happy to see her.

“Mystic Mia! It’s been so long!” She ran up and gave her a hug, smiling up at her. “I’m taking a break from my training and wanted to come visit the city. B-but I promise when I get back I’ll train extra hard to make up for it! How are you? I missed you!”

Pearl didn't seem to think of this as strange, so should she not as well? Even if she wondered that, it wasn't quite so easy for Mia to wrap her mind around this. 

Mia smiled back at the little girl before bending down and returning the hug. She chuckled, "That's alright. Breaks now and then are good, so long as you don't forget to work hard once you're done with a break. For now though, don't worry about it!" (If I were being honest, I'd say the training in Kurain is a bit too much, especially for young girls, but I don't think it'd be that responsible of me to say so.)

Mia hid her face slightly, to not show Pearl her somewhat dimmed expression now. She was still upset over Diego, but..."I've been fine! Just got to keep up my work. I'm still training as well, even though I have done two cases."

Mia cut her sentence off with a look of pure surprise. Was this... another her!? This was certainly... something. Mia walked up to what appeared to be herself, and weakly smiled whilst having a confused expression she couldn't hide.

"Um... you're not me, are you?"

(Oops! That was probably a bit too 'straightforward'...)
