––– jeffery dean morgan, 51, male, he/him // in SOUTH BEACH, you’ll find SERAN MEDAKOVIC who’s lived there for SIX YEARS and they spend their days working as OWNER OF THE KRYSTAL CLASS BAR. They’ve been described as IMPULSIVE, VINDICTIVE, AND TERRIFYING by the people that know them. Which makes sense when you consider that they can be DYNAMIC + FOCUSED but also VIOLENT + SARCASTIC.
BIOGRAPHY
TRIGGER WARNINGS: crime, murder, fire, abuse, death
Seran’s beginning to life was anything the unexpected from living in Chicago. Feeding your own drug addicted parents was never easy, being the talk of the town wasn’t any easier. From the moment he could remember his life had been this way with what could only be seen as a trailer trash family. People in the neighborhood would turn the other way when his family walked down the street, tattered clothes & scruffy looking. People would whisper in the streets and call Seran the boy from the crazy house because of his parents. It was like it haunted him everywhere he went, being a young boy had never been an option for him growing up having to do the cooking, the cleaning and every thing you’d never expect of a child.
It was unknown if he ever smiled because it was never seen. Out of both of his parents he’d always been slightly closer to his mother, remembering the days she’d sing him lullabies before bed and stroke his hair. Although that would only last a short while before fists would fly and a cover up would be some how created for when he went to school. But nobody ever questioned it and to this day he’s never been able to understand how nobody could see the pain he was going through.
October ninth was a day that Seran had never forgotten when he arrived home from school and his mother’s bags were packed with nothing left but a note that said she was sorry. His own mother had left him with his drunken abusive father. She had saved herself but left her son to deal with everything she had gone through. And now that his father had less people to take his anger out on; Seran became the main target for everything.
The beating’s became more intense and Seran eventually stopped going to school so he could do what ever his father told him to do. But one night things changed after yet another slap to the face, drunken beer bottles trashed around the house and a confused boy sat on the floor crying.
Something snapped in side of him; something that he’s never been able to explain since. It was like the whole world was gone from under his own feet as he stared out into the dark sky, a Monday evening around 9:45pm and the only sounds were his erratic breathing and the tweets of the birds in the distance. While his father slept he dosed the whole house in gasoline and without a second thought set it alight and watched as it burnt to the ground— well or so he thought. He took off before he could finish watching.
Seran took off for a number of years, returning only to see a reminiscence of a house that used to be there. Seran had killed his own father and nobody had ever questioned it. It had been ruled that the father in his stricken grief of his wife leaving him had killed himself and his son and the family were completely forgotten about. Seran was never sure about why he came back, he knew he needed to see what he had done to come to terms with it.
But it had made him cold, angry and he’d never been the same since. He wasn’t sure when he started working as a hit man. At first it had been for a couple hundred bucks to get him out of debt, and then it started to pile up.
His release had always been dealing armed goods, something he was extremely talented at, nothing more than fun. But when he realised he could make money out of it, things changed in his life. Seran began to race cars all the time, short change then changed to what some would consider lots of money. Profit was made after he’d began to upgrade his cars, and before he knew it Seran had a following, practically living for the fame that had seemingly taken over him.
Although only a small town fame, alongside that he met The Raspers; people who could make him worthy so they put it. Seran had the connections and the mentality for the criminal life style — and just like that he was in. As much as he wanted presidency he knew it would never come, that was left to the family members and he had respect for that. But after many years of loyalty a title he never expected came along. Vice President. When he was recruited for a small time illegal racing group he took it without thinking and soon enough he was the living proof of what underground racing was like.
He was working for them, whether that be racing or many of the other jobs they had going for them. Seran had found his calling, although no better than his father in his day. He had became him. Anything he could do to make his gang money, he’d do it. Without a thought whether that was armed deals, car racing, cocaine and among many other things — he’d do them all.
He’d obtained the nickname the Beast for a reason. Or a psychopath— which ever suited better at the time dependent on mood.
But now aged 51 Seran took off to the beautiful Miami in order to start his own life where he would no longer be just a Vice President but a leader but kept an iron fist throughout to make sure nobody double crossed them. known for his brutal personality and almost psychopathic tenancies. He was one to be feared. Making even the most normal of people shake in their boots. Well known to the authorities for his short time he’d spent behind bars years previous, but his people depended on him. Seran is a brutal kind of man that does not fear killing or people. All he cares about is making sure him, and his Team have what they need to survive. If you get in the way of that, there will be hell to pay, because no one fucks with a Stone.
––– brenton thwaites, 26, he/his // in SOUTH BEACH, you’ll find WILLIAM GALLAGHER who’s lived there for THREE WEEKS and they spend their days working as EMERGENCY ROOM RESIDENT. They’ve been described as LATE NIGHT DRIVING, EMPTY BEER GLASSES, AND THE CLEAN GOOD BOY LOOK by the people that know them. Which makes sense when you consider that they can be DETERMINED + CHARMING but also STUBBORN + HOT HEADED.
BIOGRAPHY
Born to a rich Australian family, William had everything he wanted in life and that should have made for a happy childhood but instead it only brought him loneliness. He was an only child of two high class business owners, his father, a pilot and a small airline owner, while his mother was an heir to the biggest IT company in Australia. Growing up, they wanted Will to follow in their footsteps, grow into a businessman and make his own company in the future. In their eyes, everything they did well for Will was an investment. So, after a while they started to wonder where they went wrong. Will was compassionate, smart and hardworking but also more inclined to helping others than helping himself. He was a good kid, and his parents wouldn’t have had an issue with that if they weren’t as capitalistic as they were.
Growing up, they had tried to drill into his head that money was power, but Will had none of it. He had decided earlier on that he wanted to be a doctor, to help the poor, and being more mature meant that he learned about the need to stand on his own. He wanted to prove to his parents that he could be the son they wanted him to be, but he wasn’t going to adhere to their methods to do so. After working a few jobs to earn for his college degree in Human Biology at home, then after graduating, he left Australia to take up his medical degree under a scholarship in Stanford in California. It took him only the right amount of time to finish his degree and had graduated with honors. Since then, many hospitals were eyeing him so that he’d work for them, but the dream to help the poor and do charitable works continue.
Now he’s found himself in Miami to practice his four years of residency before he’s a full-fledged doctor and he had decided to work for the emergency room of Mercy Miami Hospital. He’s earning on his own and is trying his hardest to live a better life away from his family’s riches, and though initially someone they found hard to be proud of, Will’s passion softened his parents’ hearts and now they continue to send him money to ensure that he’s living the best life he can. Though it’s different to be far from home and even family, he’s focused on his goals and thinks he could stay here and find an even better life.
––– liz gillies, 28, female, she/her // in SOUTH BEACH, you’ll find STEVIE GIBBONS WILLIAMS who’s lived there for THREE WEEKS and they spend their days working as OWNER OF SUNSET COVE. They’ve been described as AFTERNOON SUN, A MORNING SPIN CLASS, AND AN OPEN WINDOW AT NIGHT by the people that know them. Which makes sense when you consider that they can be RESOURCEFUL + AMBITIOUS but also INSECURE + BOSSY.

TRIGGER WARNINGS: alcohol, drugs
When Stevie was born to George and Rachel Williams she was named Steven. Her father was too stubborn to admit that he had a daughter. According to him, the world had wronged him and he had been given a daughter by mistake. That mentality destroyed the Williams marriage. Rachel couldn’t stand all the side comments about their child not being what he wanted. George was only concerned with the empire that he had to run. The hotel business was not an easy legacy to come by and George Williams was handed down the business from his father. He only wanted to pass it down to his son instead. Stevie never knew her mother. The woman bailed on the marriage and raising her child a mere six months after she was born. After that, the only Williams child was left to nannies, butlers, the kitchen staff and being raised by her father - someone else that didn’t want her either.
The resentment toward Stevie lessened as she grew older - only because Stevie wanted to do anything in her power to please her father. The man made it clear that he didn’t think that Stevie was the right person to run the family business in the future, though at the time she was only six years old. For the first few years of Stevie’s life, the only look she can remember on her father’s face is pure disappointment. Disappointment that she wasn’t the child he had always dreamed of. Stevie heard him talking about it often. Though she was still so young, he had already begun making plans to hand his business down to another a decade and few years down the road. Where Stevie could have been done with her father and his lack of love for her, Stevie did the exact opposite. Her father’s approval was an ambitious goal for a young child but it was one that she was dedicated to working on. A goal that she would achieve, eventually.
Living in Los Angeles most of her childhood and adult life, she had few and fleeting friendships. Los Angeles was for people of stardom and once it took off, those people left. Even Avery Harrington, a person she thought she would be able to count on for her entire life, betrayed her in the end. The two had met during the brief time he was attending school before his own acting career took off. The only child took quickly to Avery, finding comfort in someone that she didn’t have to impress. Everyone knew the Williams name and wanted something from the young girl. Avery was one of the few people that didn’t want anything from her. It didn’t take long for their friendship to flourish. When her father found another reason to be disapproving to an action she took, she found herself sneaking on to set to spend time with Avery between his shoots. Helping him with homework and spending late nights and early mornings on the phone, Stevie thought she had a friend for life. And then, that friendship turned into something a little bit more. Their relationship came on so slowly that at first, Stevie hadn’t even realized how much that she liked Avery. A lot more than a friend. Childhood friends to teenage lovers - Stevie was head over heels and the family legacy was often the last thing on her mind.
Why did she need her father’s approval when she was a teenage girl head over heels for an up and coming actor? It was short lived. Avery’s popularity long surpassed what she could have ever dreamed for him at such a young age and his wealth began to mirror her own families income. The boy she was in love with was stepping out on his own and Stevie did all that she could to support him. Young and naive is what she would call herself now. When she was putting all her energy into Avery, she could have been working towards getting the family business handed down to her. Instead, Avery took over her life. Until he didn’t. Walking away from Avery was the hardest decision Stevie had to make at that age. The boy she had fallen in love with was no longer that person. When he began hanging out with supermodels and was caught stumbling out of cabs after nights of drinking, Stevie put on a smile. Her father chided her - telling her this was not the type of man that would sit well with the Williams name. Her father kept telling her that Avery would ruin their name if she continued on with him.
At first, Stevie only ignored her father’s warnings. He had never looked out for her best interest before - at least not that she had been aware of. Why would he start now? She stuck around Avery, doing her best to keep him out of the tabloids and practically spending all her energy on him. At the end of the day, the young adult went home exhausted. Her grades were intact, something she had never let slip but her social life had ceased to exist when all she could focus on was Avery. She waited in limos and slept, did her homework, did anything to make sure that he could have his fun and even at times, she joined in. The drinking, the lights, the cameras, it was all fun and games. That was, until Avery began to dive into a lot more than alcohol. She had been there for him while his father broke his heart, the boy she loved desperately wanting a relationship with him. Stevie knew she had done the same with her own father time and time again.
Stevie had lost track of how many times that she had walked in on Avery high but there was one day when she decided that she had enough. She was only eighteen when she decided to walk away from Avery and his issues. Graduating high school and not having a direction to go was an eye opener for her. She had spent countless nights babying his behaviors and one day she just broke. She didn’t know who he was anymore and he was certainly not the person that she fell in love with. It was shortly after that Stevie went across the country to New York. She had to get as far away from Avery as possible if she wanted to get her life back on track. In the midst of everything going on with Avery, her father had remarried a young and thriving twenty-seven year old. If Stevie wanted to save any sort of sanity she had left, she had to go on her own. A jet ride to New York had her secured in a new apartment and starting at business school at NYU Stern School of Business with a flash of money from her father.
New York was cliche and life changing for Stevie. With Avery, her father and his new wife on the other side of the country, Stevie dove into her studies. It was time she started to focus on getting the family business before her greedy step-mother could snag what was rightfully hers. The woman, despite getting into college on her father’s name, worked hard to graduate valedictorian of her class. Four years of school, few friendships and nearly flying under the radar, Stevie felt like a new woman. Her return to Los Angeles at twenty-two years old was one her father had not expected. She came back to their beloved home that spanned acres to get what was rightfully hers. Each step she took to her father’s office was a loud beat in her heart as she flung the doors open to demand that he give her shares of the hotel. It was before she could get the words out that he beat her to the punch. Her father was giving her a piece of the hotel, allowing her to take her rightful place in the family business. One that she had earned - his words, not her own. Not that Stevie didn’t believe she earned it but the approval from her father was all that she needed to take off to the next step.
Taking names and stomping on those that got in her way, Stevie integrated herself into the family business quickly rising to COO under her father. It was a fast track career, with many thanks to her own father for that, but Stevie proved herself time and time again. At only twenty-four years old, she was COO of William Enterprises, managing hotels that spanned the United States and beginning to make way into other countries. For four years, Stevie did just that. She traveled, stayed up late, wooed her way into people’s hearts and their land. She took their money and placed hotels in various locations across the world. Her father was more than impressed with her - though, her step mother tried again and again to get Stevie to fail. The brunette had always been one step ahead.
After making her mark, Stevie flew to Miami to open up her newest installment. She had been finishing up travels when she decided to that Miami would be a semi-permanent home. Four years of blood, sweat and tears had her wanting to take a public step back. Stevie remained COO of William Enterprises but would only be managing the location in Miami and helping when need be. It wasn’t that Stevie wanted to settle down - but she had worked for what she wanted and she wanted to focus on building her own empire, though still far away from Los Angeles. With only a few weeks into her arrival in Miami - Stevie has only just begun making her mark in the Sunshine State.
––– julianne hough, 29, cisgender female, she/her // in SOUTH BEACH, you’ll find VICTORIA “TORI” NASH who’s lived there for SIX YEARS and they spend their days working as a BARTENDER / DANCER. They’ve been described as SHORT SHORTS AND AN EVEN SHORTER ATTENTION SPAN, MIMOSAS AFTER A LONG, SLEEPLESS NIGHT, AND DANCING IN THE POURING RAIN by the people that know them. Which makes sense when you consider that they can be BUBBLY + UNDERSTANDING but also EMOTIONAL + INDECISIVE.
BIOGRAPHY
TRIGGER WARNINGS: Eating disorder mention
Victoria Rose Nash was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia, and had all the makings of a prima ballerina despite her bad attitude. A childhood filled with tutus and restrictive diets was enough to force a rebellion as she entered her teen years. Her mother, who was gifted a large frame and flat feet, cared only for living vicariously through Tori whilst also tearing her down for being everything she didn’t get to be, her jealousy manifesting into constant shaming and berating. So by the time she had really grown into all her assets, Tori started to sneak out late at night to party and get into some trouble with her usually-much-older boyfriends - if only as a big “fuck you” to her mother, who had her own fair share of men back to their trailer house for this or that - men whose wandering eyes always made Tori feel dirty.
Her mother remarried some guy named Chet when Tori was only 16 years old, and naturally, the only logical thing to do when you have a new husband is kick your teenage daughter out of the house so you can reclaim your lost years. After a phone call to her biological father in Miami along with a threat about child support, it wasn’t long before Tori was on her way to Florida, the chip on her shoulder only getting that much stronger. However, as time went on, the relationship she had with her father - although brand new - was still far better than her relationship with her mother, if only because he left her alone. As for the rest of the family, Tori was looked at like she was dirty - the love child who had no place in their world.
The only way Tori knew how to feel alive, feel herself, was through dance. Hours upon hours were spent in classes and studio spaces, working on her form and pouring her heart and soul into her gift. Ballet, one of the only things she could thank her mother for, was her escape from everything, and also her ticket to New York City, where she attended Julliard in pursuit of her BFA. Those 4 years were the most stressful and most rewarding years of her life as she endured the pressure cooker of competition that is the ballet world. After graduation, she apprenticed at ABT, eventually becoming a member of the corps de ballet. She pushed herself to the brink of exhaustion during this time, with dreams of not only becoming a soloist, but a principal dancer for the company - even after being told time and time again that she didn’t have “the correct figure.” Exhaustion turned into years of starvation-focused dieting, which resulted in hospitalization and her eventual replacement at ABT.
Returning back home with her tail between her legs was shameful for Tori, who had nothing but an empty bank account to show for her blood, sweat, and tears. Ever since then, she has made quite a good living slinging drinks and dancing on bars for extra tips, but still finds the time outside of work to pour her soul into her dancing. She does still struggle with her lost dream of being a principal dancer, but is instead trying to save up enough money to pursue a new dream: to open a dance studio of her own.
In terms of her personality, Tori is fun-loving and bubbly on the surface, and isn’t afraid to be forward or speak to strangers. She’s sensitive and emotional, but is not a pushover - will stand up for herself if people are rude or insensitive. Affection is her forte, and will love up on anyone she adores. If pushed to a certain point, she can get a little bit explosive - and will say anything that comes to her mind.
