This. This is what’s getting thrown out with the almighty Tumblr algorithm: expressions of love. Expressions of affection and acceptance and hope. Positive reflections of what two people in love look like, regardless of who they are or who they love. It’s taken years for me to accept who I am, in large part because I went through my childhood not seeing people like me; 19 years I told myself I was different, and for that I was ashamed of myself. Not everyone is fortunate enough to escape to a physical place where they are accepted. But we had this community we built here. Visibility matters. Seeing yourself in the light matters. And now, as a result of years of inaction and ambivalence about REAL issues, we - our community, our expression, our pride - are being pushed back to the shadows.
We are not explicit.
This is literally pissing me off
Happy Birthday @ellessey-writes ! You’re a talented writer but mostly you’re a wonderful human being - this day is yours! All the love and wishes to you! Sure you can guess where this is coming from…♥

Made your mark on me…a GOLDEN TATTOO.
