Bio Bullets (lmao turned into paras, alas here we are)

Childhood was a mixed bag of memories. At times the most idyllic, a happy family others quiet and lonesome. The next chaotic and like being transported to another dimension.

From humble beginnings in Mercury Flats, to when her parents started to make a little more money and able to buy a house in Shasta Heights. It wasn't until around thirteen years old her mother started to display serious bouts of depression. (Or really, only when Micah started noticing) Often times leaving Micah to fend for herself when something about another job lost or her father (Caleb) was working late again at the restaurant.

Up to adding a sibling here too! (so info tbd)

When Micah was seventeen, she started working at Sebastian's as a dish washer/busser in the kitchen. Probably not the best idea — as while she knew how he was, she got to see it first hand. (whether he knew it or not, who knows) but the understanding of who her father was, came the severe decline of her mother.

After an attempt to her life, and Micah being the only one around at the time it enraged her how flippant and careless it all seemed and how her dad wasn't there. The couple finally split, (tentatively have it so Micah's mother left Cascade to live with her sister in Seattle - but I have a wc up and willing to work with all that good stuff!)

Around this time Micah met some of the crew back of the house that saw opportunity in her and, for her, an opportunity to fuck with her dad while make a lot of money. She started dealing, predominantly at UCas as she enrolled for a semester and then yeeeah, dropped when there really didn't seem a point as she was making so much money.

During this time dealing, an incident (more than one) happened where an overdose and meeting with the actual people behind the product she was sourced with left her shaken. A little too deep into this thing, Micah dropped selling of anything 'hard'. (Though that too was a feat - and potentially a connection opportunity muahah)

There was a relationship in here (possible wc!), volatile, two people that shouldn't have been together, she got pregnant, and she had it taken care of without any discussion with this person. (tentatively going for that the tip off to their break up)

While things haven't slowed down much in the dealing department (now mostly dealing in cannabis, psychedelics, MDMA, and occasionally coke) the job at Cherry is fitting for her sensual and sexual appetite, where she can unabashedly explore and give onto others comfortably. Also it's just fun.

mostly  bellamy  was  shopping  around  to  kill  some  time.  picking  up  a  trinket  here  and  there,  snickering  at  some  novelty  items,  and  maybe  even  raising  her  brow  at  some  of  the  risqué  offerings.

her  blue  eyes  found  someone  hesitating  between  picking  an  item  or  leaving  it  there  on  the  shelf.  it  was  like  they  wanted  it  but  weren't  sure  of  the  judgement  or  something  to  that  effect.

"just  get  it."  bellamy  encouraged  at  the  few  steps  it  took  to  approach.  "if  you  like  it...  just  get  it."  the  shrug  was  an  emphasis  on  why  care?  and  soon  a  smirk  made  its  way  onto  her  expression.  "i  went  to  the  palm  reader  earlier.  wanna  know  what  she  said?"

She'd get the 'blow job mints' from the assortment at hand; no doubt that one in particular was on the stronger end. Now the breath fresh, albeit a little too much on the cinnamon side that Micah kept popping like candy, "Oh, no. No, no, I don't like this — but I got a really bad case of shitty landlord, so anything to bad omen the hell outta him, I'll do it..." She joked-ish, but Bam also inadvertently convinced her to tuck the thing away for purchase.

"—why?" She looked at her skeptical then, the hell did this come from? Not superstitious but damn if Bel didn't pick the right moment to throw that out, "Am I gonna be a billionaire? Date an athlete? Are you my future sugar mama?"

one  of  the  servers  found  him  at  the  pass  with  that  careful  expression  people  wore  when  they  had  decided  a  problem  was  above  their  pay grade,  and  baz  came  out  from  the  kitchen  a  minute  later  with  his  sleeves  rolled  to  the  forearm,  carrying  the  heat  of  the  line  on  him  and  none  of  it  showing  on  his  face.  he  arrived  in  time  for  the  tail  end,  not  enough  to  be  certain  of  the  damage  but  more  than  enough  to  recognize  his  daughter  making  sport  of  him  in  front  of  strangers,  and  the  smile  he  gave  the  couple  was  apologetic,  almost  grateful.  “  i  promise  the  autograph  isn’t  worth  the  trouble,  ”  baz  said,  his attention kept neatly on the guests.  “  but  thank  you  for  coming  in tonight.  i  hope  everything was  taken care  of.  ”  he  stayed  cordial  until  they  had  their  coats  and  their  exit,  offering  them  the  sort  of  farewell  that  made  escape  feel  voluntary  rather  than  merciful. only  when  they  were  no  longer  part  of  the  room  did  he  allow  his  attention  to  return  to  her,  the  pleasantness  still  there  but  thinned  out,  not  gone  so  much  as  placed  where  it  could  do  the  least  damage. 

“  well,  ”  he  drawled, glancing at the scatter of salt near her hand. a ridiculous little precaution he might have found funny if it had not been aimed, however theatrically, in his direction. “ one of my servers said you were at the bar. from the look on their face, i gathered this wasn’t going to improve my evening. ”  it  was  not  loud  enough  to  become  a  scene,  but  it  had  the  dry  little  precision  of  a  knife  being  set  carefully  beside  a  plate.  he  rested  one  hand  on  the  bar  and  left  a  decent  space  between  them.  “ i was going to ask if you wanted anything from the kitchen, but given the salesmanship, i’m beginning to think you came in for something else. ” his gaze dropped to the glass, only long enough to make it clear he had noticed. “ at least the bar met your standards. ”

God he was good. And the way he schmoozed came so damn easy — watching him the whole time, as Baz made new fans, her own efforts long forgotten, hell the couple was deep in a giddy sense of satisfaction. A story no doubt to share to relatives and friends back wherever and a new loyalty to the man as he treated them like they didn't just spend thirty on an appetizer. And all she could do was laugh. A scoff here, undetected most likely. "Uh huh. . . what loyal subjects you have." She said, looking down again at the Julep, twisting the remaining watered-down liquid. This routine never not disappointing that those closest to him couldn't quite see what it was she did. How little he cared in reality about them. But then, he signed the checks. But the act wasn't perfect - it was trained. And a fast reminder the barrier between the two. Knowing full well that this is what padded her own makeup. So finely tuned that she saw herself in him more times than not and that revelation every single time a psychotherapist's dream as she only ever acted out in response. And knew no matter what he gave, she got under his skin. "Not quite." She said as if casual without a care in the world, catching his gaze and dig, Micah finished off the cocktail with a crunch of the last bit of ice. "I wasn't lying to them — all but the ice has gone downhill. I barely feel a thing. And it was too sweet —" the drink, all but the metaphor, "Nothing here you needed to make a round for."

Maybe  he  was  too  tired,  he  was  generally  a  good  read  on  sarcasm  and  a  twitch  at  his  lips  indicated  a  small  smile  just  before  he  shook  his  head  a  bit.  It  was  still  smoking  indoors  in  a  public  setting  and  surely  she  had  to  know  that.  Micah  clearly  didn't  care  and  you  know  what?  Neither  did  he.

"Maybe  she  doesn't  have  a  big  screen  at  home?"  Shoulders  shifted,  a  mild  shrug  at  the  assumption.  "But  I  think  it's  more  so  wanting  to  be  around  certain  company."  His  head  tipped  toward  the  woman  working  on  the  attention  of  a  couple  of  patrons.

"She's got a big screen at home." She said confidently. This time she took her time with the inhale and release; if there was a problem, it'd yet to be handled as the bartender behind that kept on keeping on. "—oh? Wait . . . scandalous. Are you, do you think. . . are you saying she's got the red light on?"

"We need to learn the art of tone and delivery, babe," she chuckled. There was a way to state facts without it being attacking, but Micah was not wrong in her sentiment whatsoever. "The incessant whining at this hour of the day calls for bedtime." She did not miss it whatsoever, having her fair share of squabbles and trying to keep her nine-year-old tamed in public. "Anyhow, what's new?"

She let out a laugh, side-eyeing Calla without a hint of malice, "I'm no actor. What use would that have for me, ever?" The use of it for the person in front of her, though, could (should) be worth something to calibrate. "And you would know," She leaned back comfortably, though every time reminded that Calla would know, deeply; it left Micah mindblown. Definitely mom-friend energy but also could just be a Cancer, maybe, "Oh you know, same old. Still fighting Leon about my rent — he's got it out now it's summer. Think he thinks I'll be run out by the saloon staying open till sunrise. Little does he know I'm a night owl that doesn't mind country music."

"Toledo, huh? Everything horrible comes from Ohio," he declares, with only a smidge of a smirk. Thanks Dad. He drinks more beer, aching for his couch and his lamp and the brown box on his coffee table already.

"Uhuh. Yeah, I guess. Nothing but tradition over there." He talks about it like it's a roach in the bathroom, but if you were to examine this sentiment? Maybe you'd find a sliver of fondness. He does find himself reminiscing on Texas more often lately, or rather, who he left behind in Texas and constantly thinks about.

"Maybe. Think Dexter Shark's from Toledo, The Phantom's would be in big trouble without him." She said, the one and only allegiance to her city that she'd proudly take on the road if ever need be.

Micah stared at the guy in front of her a second too long, boy was he a seemingly sad sack. A sad sack that the mention of Texas struck a nerve over, "You. . . wanna talk about it?" She said, the inappropriate laugh that threatened to come out, Micah covered quick with a hand to her lips masked in thought; regretting not double fisting the happy hour cocktail when she had the chance, instead sipping the last of her drink and it made a very clear and loud suction noise.

it wasn't illicit - at least not anymore, but despite weed being perfectly legal in california, he could remember being freshly eighteen, away from home - with a whole world of possibilities before him, including ones that he would have never considered back in high school. micah had been the first person to show him how to roll a joint, when to know that he'd taken enough to be pleasantly buzzed without paranoia settling in, even how to take a puff without coughing up his lungs - although he doubted he looked very cool. still, he enjoyed the feeling of the high - enough so that whenever exam stress got to much, micah would be his call, reliable and steady - even if he never purchased anything more than a dime bag. it was enough to keep him from considering other sources, even after returning to cascade, always shooting off a text to meet at their regular spot when he needed a bag. "forgive me for likely being your most sporadic customer?" a sheepish grin lifts at his features as he sees her approaching, hand darting up in a wave of greeting.

There were plenty of people that at this point in her career that boundaries were set. They call. She delivers — on her time. Adem though, unless she was roped, out of service, or in a yearly sort of spell, Micah actually sort of thrived off their meet ups. A recharge with probably the sweetest person in Cascade. She needed nice. Sometimes. She noticed when he was gone. "You're gonna have to start payin' my gas, that's all." She teased, The Loop her main source of transportation anyway —as she let her bag full of goodies as well as a towel land on the sandy beach, "So we getting in? Or you wanna unwind first . . ."

She spent a good thirty-plus perusing the vast selection at hand. Brown Bag honestly was a trip. It reminded her of going to one of the many video stores (now completely kaput) and peeking in the designated section closed off to kids. And at the ripe age of 32, she still felt like she wasn't allowed — irony not lost, as she spent 1/2 her professional time selling the very products found inside what was offered here.

"Hmm, this. Or this." She asked Marlowe when the other was finally free, sliding two dvd's along the counter. "I'm feeling a weed and chill kind of night and a little more plot. Maybe. . .which, speaking of, wanna trade?" As the sole reason she was in here in the first place, but curious nonetheless what Marlowe would suggest.

But Micah didn't hold much if anything against the guy, they were annoying. Bordering on questionable where safety was concerned and a night of seeing stars and phoney sacrifices. "Are you an escaped prisoner or mental patient?" She asked, switching which palm blocked the sun. Still, leaning over again to push the door open further. "I make no promises. . . "

When she walked in the bar alone it was late. The view from her apartment half a block, maybe, was deceiving. It looked quiet, and a drink was all she wanted. Micah knew her favorite bartender, Margot, was behind the bar tonight. It wasn't until she stepped through the front door and a Sasquatch 94.9 marquee was situated and the space was actually, packed. —last pull of Pride. Made sense. And she decided as Sade played overhead, to fuck it. She could be a fly on the wall, have a drink and get out of dodge. Just in case. "You got anyone sitting here?" Micah asked the first body she saw next to an empty seat at the bar, casually reaching out to touch for attention, "I just want a drink, I'm not gonna be . . . " Of course it was Arden. The one person she not twenty seconds ago was reminded of, and that set a twist to her stomach at the thought of having to be confronted again, "—long."

For a town full of superstitions, Micah wasn't all that interested in the things that haunted. There were enough questions left unanswered, and a slew of different kinds of ghosts that left nothing but burning rage or indifference entirely. Her father, Clive, Baz, in her mind and soul was living in a constant state of in between the two.

It was nights like these where the seismic chart inside her scaled to eleven (er, high- whatever that would be) and a sort of fix was needed. She didn't think about it too much, not when it was happening at least, she was there to give Scoot his Eight. It'd be a waste of a trip if she didn't sit, try the latest cocktail on the menu. So she did. After her third Rose Julep, she entertained the couple next to her with recommendations from a local's perspective: where to dance, tourist traps that were worth it, where to get a good cocktail — "Sebastian's is overrated. You're much better off spending more at Pas Normal. The chef here's kind of - in a corporate slump. Not quite what he used to be." The words were too easy, as it wasn't true, and as the numbing of the bourbon set in, that when they finally, actually met eyes the superstitions that shrouded this city she blanched with a shake of the salt over her shoulder (just in case). "Ah, speak of the devil. I'm sure he'd sign an autograph—" she told the couple, gathering their coats, "Right?" Micah looked to Baz, head on.

she  was  walking  around  the  flea  market,  with  a  melting  frozen  coffee  in  one  hand  and  a  portable  fan  in  the  other.  sweat  dripped  down  her  temple  as  she  looked  at  all  the  pretty  beads  and  jewels  a  vendor  was  selling  —  perfect  for  handmade necklaces or bracelets.  she  suddenly stumbled,  as  clumsy  as  ever,  and  bumped  into  someone  who  was  walking  in  the  opposite  direction.  “shit,  i’m  so  sorry  !“  her  cheeks  burned  bright  red  as  she  righted  herself. "are you alright ?"

She was hightailing out of there, actually. Was why in the first place, emotions got the best of, and her surroundings were a blur. The bag she had filled with cheap sunglasses she'd lose in two months time, a new oven mitten, and magnets for the hell of it dropped, and didn't bother to pick up again. Carmen. "Shit. I'm — you know what, you never saw me. Capiche?" A stranger would've been better. Then she could play it off as someone else entirely.
