I made this video yesterday at Komische Oper Berlin. Happy Easter, and as Barrie Kosky said in the video: “The music will go on”. https://www.facebook.com/komischeoperberlin/videos/216003142985714/

Welcome to the 20′s. Enjoy life with a smile on your face...
Mario Montez, who brought the Banana to art. In 1964 she was eating a banana in Andy Warhols film "Mario banana"! I took this photo in 2012 when Mario was honored with the SPECIAL TEDDY AWARD at the Berlinale for his outstanding role in underground film history. John Edward Heys and I were lucky to make a wonderful little film "A Lazy Summer Afternoon with Mario Montez" with her, which was screened at the Berlinale 2012. It was her last film before she died at the age of 78. She was one of the sweetest person I ever met.
