Just because you are camping, it doesn't mean that you have to go hungry. In this blog we will explore the best meals to cook whilst camping near Doncaster.
In our last blog, we discussed the best industries to work in with your drones. In this blog, we discuss what drones are required for what industry. Multi-Rotor Drones (Photography and Aerial Inspection) Multi-Rotor Drones are the most common drone type. These are the easiest drones for beginners as they are more stable than other drones. They are also one of the most cost-effective drones on the market. Multi-Rotor Drones, in particular, Quadcopters, are the ideal candidate for Aerial Photography. Quadcopters offer unrivalled stability due to a rotor being on each corner of the drone. A camera can be mounted to the underside of the drone to take clear images. The most popular Quadcopters for Aerial Photography seem to be by the company DJI. DJI sell drones that have cameras prebuilt into them which is good if youâre looking for a drone to fly straight out of the box. However, if youâre looking for excellent image quality then itâs worth buying a drone that can mount a camera on it. When buying a drone like this make sure it is strong enough to carry the payload of a camera mount and the camera itself. The camera will also need to have a wireless shutter release in order to take photos unless the camera mount has it built in. A Quadcopter is also perfect for Aerial Inspections as well due to its ability to hover in place and stability. Quadcopters can also be small which makes them ideal to get into small places where larger drones would fail. Fixed-Wing Drones (Aerial Mapping, Powerline and Pipework Inspection) Fixed-Wing Drones resemble a plane in that they donât have rotors and have a wing instead. These drones require a lot more skill and practice to use as the nose of the drone dictates where itâs going to move. If youâve never used one before Iâd recommend getting some drone training as these drones are expensive and you donât want to crash them. Fixed-Wing Drones are ideal for Aerial Mapping and long distance flights as they are much more efficient at flying than Quadcopters and also run on a different source of energy. Unlike Multi-Rotor Drones which run on a battery, Fixed-Wing Drones can run off of gas which allows them to make up to 16-hour flights. This flight time makes them ideal for surveying large pipelines and power lines. The landing and taking off of a Fixed-Wing Drone can be really difficult and requires a lot of space as it needs to pick up speed in order to generate lift. VTOL-Hybrid (Delivery) Amazon have been developing a drone that is capable of delivering goods to hard to reach locations. The VTOL is able to take off and land vertically along with being able to move forward with speed. The Amazon drone is only in prototype at the minute and as such isnât fully ready to be mass produced. Once everything has been designed to work efficiently and effectively this drone service will revolutionize the delivery industry. Make sure when youâre using these drones in a commercial sense that you have a PfCO License. Hummingbird UAV offer Fast and Full Drone Courses depending on your

How are modular buildings better for the environment than any other construction process? Modular Buildings are the ultimate way to conserve the environment during the construction process. Modular Buildings, due to their standard design reduce the waste of materials significantly. With bespoke designs sometimes it can take awhile to get it right but with a âŠ
As Laser Welding comes further into the light it's important to assess which form of welding is better, Conventional Welding or Laser Welding? In this blog, we discuss what Conventional Welding is, what Laser Welding is and the advantages of the two.
If you're a commercial drone pilot or a hobbyist looking to see what opportunities await you, Hummingbird UAV has compiled a list of the Top 5 Industries to work in with your drone. However, one thing to note, you must have a commercial drone license in order to make the profit from your work. If you don't have a commercial drone license and are flying your drone for business and/or profitable purposes then what you're doing is illegal (similar to driving a car without a driver's license). 1.Photography/Videography Probably one of the most popular industries, and for good reason, Photography can be one of the most beneficial industries to be in. With the introduction of drones, many companies require photographs and video. Whether this be for commercials, weddings or adverts, you're never short of work. For me, Photography and Videography would be my preferred choice for commercial drone use as you can create some stunning aesthetics that wouldn't be possible with a regular camera. 2.Construction In recent times many construction companies have been using drones to survey and inspect their construction sites. It was reported that using drones within the industry saved them ÂŁ1000s on inspections. With this in mind, it might be worthwhile getting into the construction industry as more construction companies look to use drones within their field of work. 3.Delivery This industry is fairly new and as such isn't as mainstream as the two categories mentioned above. However, it's worth getting your foot in the door now as many delivery companies such as UPS and Amazon have begun testing drone delivery. With these big companies looking to decrease delivery times it won't be too long until drone deliveries take off (no pun intended). 4.Emergency Situations Natural disasters, although they don't affect the UK as much as the rest of the world, cripple entire towns and cities. BT have been working to provide temporary internet connection in battlefields and disaster zones, something that could potentially save lives. Although it's not perfect yet it's something that is continuously making progress. If you've ever wanted to have the opportunity to help people and save their lives this could be the industry for you. 5.Police Force The Police Force in the UK have begun using drones to survey towns and cities. They use the drones to search for missing people, monitor traffic incidents and take aerial shots of crime scenes. What's the one thing they can't do? Chase criminals. The majority of the jobs that the Helicopter Service can do the drone can do which saves the Police Force a large sum of money which can be spent elsewhere. If you've ever wanted to assist the Police now could be the time to do so. Whichever industry you choose to work in make sure it's the right one for you. Remember, like stated earlier you need a commercial drone license before you undertake any work that you get paid for. If you don't have a drone license we're now offering interest-free, pay as you go courses. For more information visit our drone course page. Enjoyed what you've read? Direct Funeral- 6 Regrets Some People Wish They Could Change Before Dying
Everybody has a bucket list for what they want to do before they die; however, itâs equally important to consider anything youâd regret not being able to change before you die. Direct Funeral presents you with 6 regrets some people had before they die along with personal accounts.
Personal Account
I sat down with my grandmother whoâs 91 to discuss if she had any regrets before she died. The following is what she said:
I think one of my biggest regrets is not knowing what to do when someone dies. When my husband Cliff died I was so heartbroken and just didnât know what to do, I really wish someone was there to guide me through that time. I also didnât get much help with a funeral plan from a local funeral director. I wanted a monthly funeral plan due to me being retired but nobody could provide that so instead I had to borrow money to buy a direct cremation for Cliff. We scattered his ashes at one of his favourite spots next to the canal.
Respect Direct Funeral Could have helped this person had they have called or gone online to download âWhat To Do When Someone Dies & Three things Not To Doâ And checked out Respectâs Funeral Plans which can be paid monthly by calling 01427 612992 or going online and clicking Our Funeral Plans
I also wish I didnât argue with family as much especially my Grandson. Arguments are pointless and are just unneeded. They take up so much time and effort that theyâre not worth following through with. Iâm a forgiving person so if somebody has done wrong by me then I soon get over.
I think the biggest regret of my life was smoking. Back in the 1940âs, it was the norm to smoke and at the time we werenât aware of the effects that they were having on us. When I was in my late 60âs I fell ill and that was caused by my smoking habits. Since then Iâve stopped smoking and until recently Iâve never felt better.
Finally, this isnât a regret but itâs something Iâm really proud of. I never thought Iâd see the day that my Great grandsons would go to school never mind finish it! If thereâs one tip I have for anyone itâs to treasure the moments you have with your loved ones.
6 Regrets People Wish They Could Have Changed Before They Die
1.Living in the moment. For some, this may seem easy but for others living in the moment can often be quite tricky. Instead of worrying about other things currently going on try to live in the moment whilst you can. Are you out with friends? Be present with them because you never know if youâll ever have another moment with them. The stress and worry of work, relationships, money and the future shouldnât occupy your mind whilst youâre at home never mind whilst youâre out trying to have fun.
2.Stop worrying. As weâve touched upon the subject already itâs time you stopped worrying. Worry is what holds us back the most because itâs one of the emotions that make us freeze and cower in fear. If we stopped worrying less weâd live a better and more fulfilled life. Along with fear worry is what stops us from reaching our full potential. I understand for most itâs not as easy just to say âYou know what Iâm going to stop worrying nowâ which is why I believe, if you struggle with easing your worries, to read this article provided by the Huffington Post.
3.Being more open. A lot of people in the UK, particularly males, struggle to be open with their feelings. Nobody knows how youâre feeling, stop trying to make them guess. A lot of people live busy lives so trying to play a guessing game regarding your emotions isnât on their agenda. Sit down with someone who you trust and just be open with them. Bottling up your emotions doesnât do anybody any good and will eventually lead you to an outburst.
Itâs equally important to be understanding with a person that doesnât want to open up. For some, itâs quite easy to open up and for others, it isnât. A lot of this is down to the social standards we have set and a lot of people feel that they are expected to stay quiet and act like everything is okay. I urge anybody and everybody to be open with their feelings as it could save a life.
4.Be more forgiving. A lot of people have a hard time forgiving people and one of the main reasons for that is because we live in the past. Living in the past doesnât change the past, in fact, it makes it more painful. To quote Jack Kornfield: Forgiveness is giving up all hope of a better past. What this means is stop hoping that the past will change because it wonât, whatâs done is done. It is pointless wishing that the past was different because it wonât change and it will only make you more miserable.
Going back to our number 1 topic, live in the moment. Youâll be much happier in the moment than in the past.
5.Tell people you love them more. Itâs a simple thing that can go a long way. As we get older we learn how important it is to love and feel loved. Saying you love someone is a small gesture of appreciation and can make their day. Start saying it more and see you and the people around you change for the better.
6.Work less. Money is nice but friends and family are nicer, theyâre also on a finite amount of time. If youâre working purely for money itâs time you look at something else. Thereâs no point making yourself miserable and stressed out for money, try to find a job you love and stick with it. If youâre content with your current job look to have a balanced workload so that you donât overload yourself.
I hope this list has helped some of you reconsider whatâs important to you and also do things that you wonât regret. If thereâs anything we can do to assist you weâre available 24/7.
A lot of people have a list set aside for what they want to do before they die. However, it's also important to consider any regrets that you wish you could change or avoid doing. Direct Funeral has compiled a list of 6 regrets people wish they could change before they die.
