The presidential portraits by Kehinde Wiley and Amy Sherald have been unveiled. The artists offered some insight on their processes during the Monday event. Read more on HiFructose.com.

The textile work of Sabine Feliciano may recall a past biology class for some, as her “dissections” of animals play with the vibrant and textural possibilities of the form. See more on HiFructose.com.
“When I was doing Virginia Woolf, and when George and Martha had their scene together and George said, ‘Our son is dead.’ You know, that big scene? ‘Our son,’ he yells in my face, ‘is dead.’ And I went ‘No!’ At the height of my force, I said no to him. And I had an orgasm for the first time in my life.”

I don’t know why but I fucking love this
Ghostwriter. What a trip.
Ranking the Ghostwriter crew from best to….less best.
1. Grandma Jenkins - I always felt safe with Grandma Jenkins in the house.
2. Ghostwriter - Ghostwriter. Our hero and the original internet surfer. His look was so 90’s before it was cool to dress 90’s.
3. Lenni Frazier - Aw yeah aw yeah, You Gotta Believe.
4. Jamal Jenkins - I mean, it’s Jamal! The karate, the Cross Colors, his nerdy (still cool) bedroom, Grandma Jenkins is his Grandma Jenkins. Win.
5. Alex Fernandez - He was the Luke Perry of PBS in the early 90’s, he sprinkled Spanish into his conversation and was my middle school boyfriend. He really was, look it up.
6. Tina Nguyen - Tina dated my boyfriend, Alex, while we were broken up for a few months in the 7th grade. I was taught if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.
7. Rob Baker - Rob was sort of a sleepy little hippie but we loved him because he was so chill.
8. Gaby Fernandez - She was Ghostwriter’s BFFL but Gaby talked too much yet never had much to say. She also wanted to be an anchorwoman which seemed super lame to me at 12. This was before I knew the wonder of Sade Baderinwa.
9. Hector Carrero - Hector grew up to be a homosexual AND a cast member on The Real World Philadelphia. Too bad there was nothing as interesting as those facts about him on Ghostwriter.
10. Casey Austin - Jamal’s cousin on his father’s side who comes to live with the Jenkins family while her mother was in rehab. Remember her? Me neither. She was sort of the Cousin Oliver of Ghostwriter.
