You look at her and you find her staring at nothing. You call out her name and she looks up at you as if she was awaken from a daydream, you look at her eyes but you don't see behind the color. She's sad and she's alone sitting in a dark space of nothing. You don't know it but she cries herself to sleep because she's unhappy with herself , with the way she smiles, with the way she laughs, with the way her face is shaped , and her body . People tell her she's pretty but she thinks they're just being nice because they feel sorry for her. They feel Sorry that she doesn't have friends, sorry that she's antisocial, sorry that she doesn't have a talent, sorry that she doesn't have what a guy would want . She use to be depressed and people would pity her , soon she turned heartless and people didn't care for her anymore , that was all show. She hasn't gotten better , she's still where she always was . Sad. She can't seem to love herself no matter how hard she tries . She may feel happy but that only lasts an hour or two until everything turns grey again and her life loses color . She comes home to being told all these things that just bring her self esteem lower than you could possibly think it could go . She keeps to herself and she stays quiet because she prefers to hear other people's lives , she sits alone in the corner because she doesn't want to be seen. She hates being photographed because she can't give you a real smile , if she tries the picture comes out ugly and it only makes her hate herself even more . Just when she finds the person who accepts her insecurities and loves her for who she is , she screws up every happy moment by saying "I don't believe you" "You're lying" "You only say this to make me feel better " "I'm ugly why are you with me" and she starts to doubt herself and her relationship . She starts to think that maybe he's better off without her because she's such an emotional mess and she doesn't think she could ever get better . Yet she can't find the strength to let him go because she loves him too much but she doesn't love herself as much . The question is will the day ever come when she learns to love herself completely for who she is and what she looks like ? Can she ever be happy with herself ? Or will she always feel like a dying rose .
