The best part of being a fan of achievement hunter for so long is that I’ve seen the evolution of people thinking that Michael was a chaotic force that Lindsay had to deal with to Lindsay being the chaotic force that Michael has to deal with

On Michael’s 13th birthday, ¡Hola! appears on his chest, and he has a mental freak out because holy shit his soulmate speaks Spanish and what if they live in another country and what if they don’t speak English? What are the chances that they’ll ever find one another? 

So he switches out of French and begins taking Spanish classes and goes on a school trip to Spain and over the next 10 years he sticks with it, even taking extra classes outside of school until he becomes fairly fluent.

And then he actually meets Ray when he wanders into a Game Stop while he’s on vacation with his family in New York. He shouts the whitest ¡Hola! Michael has ever heard in his life and even though it makes it feel as though his whole world is slotting into place he can’t fucking believe he learned an entire fucking language for this motherfucker.
