FO and close. Do not stuff. Sew the gaps created by the skipped stitches closed.

Assembly

1. Sew the head to the body. Be sure to only use the back loops of the head when sewing.

2. Sew the body skirt to the bottom of the body around round 5.

3. Using the white felt, create the eyes for underneath the disguise. Needle felt or glue them in place. The direction they face will be the front of the Mimikyu.

4. Sew the tail to the back of the body, just above the body skirt.

5. Using the reserved front loops of the head, sew the body skirt over the body from the neck. The tail should stick out from between the sets of spikes.

6. Using black yarn, create the skirt eyes. Secure them internally with needle felting or glue.

7. Sew the ears on top of the head.

*Use a reference photo for the facial details. Remember, it doesn't have to be perfect, because Mimikyu drew its face itself. Looking messy is part of the appeal. :)

8. Using black embroidery thread, create the eyes by embroidering a messy and jagged circular design.

9. Using coral embroidery thread, create the cheeks by embroidering in a back-and-forth design.

10. Using black yarn, create the zigzag mouth.
