me n Jeff were talking about plant bio spec the other night and we came up with some SLOPPP !!! /POS
During Spring and Summer the animalistic traits , mostly reptilian traits , of plant contestants are more noticeable as the days get warmer and brighter .
Their leaves , tails , and other body foliage grows longer to capture more of the rich summer sunlight .
Their skin texture becomes more bumpier and rough , having a scaly appearance .
Slit pupils , more commonly during the spring time since their eyes are still adjusting to the brighter days , but still in the summer as well .
They get a lottt more sluggish and spend a good portion of their time outside in a sunny spot to sun bathe . Some prefer warm rocks , others prefer a cozy grass bed .
Nest building is more common , material of the nest varies depending on the type of plant . ( As seen in the third image )
Courtship in plants during summer is more common
More than just plants regress to animalistic behaviors during spring and summer , objects close to nature do as well . But instead of animalistic behaviors , they regress to behaviors that relate to what they are . For example , Ruby has habits of burrowing and sleeping in tight spaces , and Lightning is drawn to stormy weather and wants to go outside in the rain and wind ( and to play . He is having play time aw awww aww )

Hello !!! So around 2 days ago I got an idea 4 a Flowerpin fic and wrote a plot outline thingy 4 it . But I'm not good at finishing fics , so I'm just going 2 go ahead and post it here . Enjoy my Yuri slop 👅
Originally I wrote it at 1 am in the morning so this is the writing I spent the next day rewriting 2 where it would be comprehensible . Btw I use it/she 4 both Flower n Pin in this
Pin and Flower have not actually met met in canon so far , they just know of each other's existence . So I found a way 2 make them at least cross paths . Pin has been known 2 show an interest in gardening , and Flower is a plant.do I see where I'm going w/ this
I got 3 reasons/ideas for Pin 2 approach Flower . 1) she needs help w/ her garden ( say she already has one ) 2) she wants 2 learn more about gardening so she can take care of her plants more efficiently . 3) doesn't have a garden and wants 2 start but needs some help . Who better 2 ask than the plan herself ?
Pin makes a trip 2 where ever Flower is residing in this timeline ( I'm still figuring out timeline stuff as of rn .I like the idea of them getting 2 know each other in idfb but also that would mean none of the growth they had in bfb/tpot would be w/ them ) 2 ask about gardening n surprise !!! 😁 Bitch doesn't take care of herself or know basic self care , meaning she don't know gardening well , despite being a plant .
It's obvious that Flower doesn't take care of itself . Its petals are fading , its stem n limbs r turning yellow and dying , there's scratches and scabs from obsessive picking at the skin and her leaves , it's pale from where it doesn't go out and get sunlight like she needs 2 .
Flower feels incredibly embarrassed and shameful about this , she knows this is not a good look on it . She's a wilting mess w/ a barely living social life and now she had just disappointed another person because she lacks the common knowledge of basic needs .
However Pin doesn't see it that way , it sees this as an opportunity for both of them 2 learn together :D AWW. So cute 🥺 so cute 🥰 . This is where they begin getting 2 know each other yay !!!
They make plans and begin gardening , and it's improving their mental and physical health . They're both strengthening their cores from the physical work of it all ( Helping Flower gain her strength back since she mostly just stays in her room all day and it is finally getting a healthy amount of sunlight and photosynthesising . Pin is helping her body stay strong bc she is easily weakened when not doing much physical activity bc of dyspraxia and hypotonia.)
Now that they are both physically feeling well and less exhausted , their mental state is being boosted ( both are getting more confident w/ socializing. Flower feelings like she finally has a friend that is her #1 pick and Pin is allowing herself to welcome another person into her circle ( that currently consists of like . Coiny and Golfball ) ) .
The garden is sort of like . A symbol of their relationship in a way ??? It brought them together if that makes sense . It makes sense in my head ok ? ok
Eventually they start spending time w/ each other outside of gardening , they are now at a new level of their relationship .
By this point Coiny has obviously noticed Pin is spending less time w/ him , but he has like . Idfk others like Firey 2 go nag . And.donut .I think . Him and Snowball seemed like friends in season 1 let's go w/ those 3 guys . So he notices but he still has other people 2 hang out w/ . Ruby wouldn't really notice Flower spending more time w/ Pin much because she's probably busy hanging out w/ Freesmart .
That means Pin n Flower haven't rlly gotten the chance 2 tell anyone that they talk to that they're now friends , so even the possibility of them being into each other is in nobodies minds ( at least not consciously )
Spending time outside of gardening leads into spending time at each other's houses every now and then , until one night when they're at Pin's place . They're in Pin's room sitting on the side of its bed and chatting . Somehow they get on the topic that they were kind of lacking something until they became friends . This gets deep n emotional wouuudghh scary , they're Venting about themselves , they're allowing themselves to open up , to be vulnerable , and they're being listened 2 .
Someone is listening 2 their story for what feels like is once in their life w/ being shut down with " oh you completed ur dream goal you must be so happy and not empty at all " or " u don't need consoling bc u got a cool mech suit despite being attacked and bullied for being different . " They have found another person like them , they have found a missing piece of themselves in the other .
The lighting is low , only a dim nightlight in the corner of the room remains ( small hc that Pin can't sleep in the dark bc of the time she spent w/ no face , w/ no light , that was taken away from her in bfdia ) it's late , very late . It's probably close or past midnight by now , they don't really know .
They're a little exhausted from the day , this is the time 2 finally wind down and rest .
They have privacy . The door was closed so that way they wouldn't wake up Coiny w/ their loud laughter and chatting . ( For context Coiny n Pin r roommates in this timeline ok ? Ok )
Neither of them planned for Flower 2 sleepover , not realizing the time after getting caught up in long conversations w/ each other .
Their setting is comfortable , they've opened up about themselves , they've admitted things they've never said 2 anyone , they've been listened 2 , they feel safe and comfortable .
Except 4 one topic . The fact that they can't help but feel and believe they're unlovable people . They've been treated as unlovable before , those things stay w/ someone . Even when things got better and they've improved as a person , they still have little 2 no social life .
One of them confesses that no matter what they do , they don't think they can ever feel like a lovable being . They feel like they're still not deserving of love despite fixing things they've broken . They themself don't feel they're capable of loving themself ever again .
They both are burdened w/ this voice in their head that they will never be loved , they are alone in this world and will forever be . However , they just found someone who understands them and this feeling . They mutually understand each other when no one else could
Neither of them can lose this opportunity that they have at this moment . If they let this chance slip away from them , neither of them would be able 2 forgive themselves for it .
The other rests their paw on the others , both of them looking at each other in the eyes . But their gaze keeps flickering back and forth between the others eyes and mouth until they can no longer keep eye contact .
They didn't lean into a kiss . They rushed into a sudden and scared , spur of the moment kiss :))) GiggkeLES OK :)) MY THINGS MY THINGS R KISSING :)) EEEEE EEEEEE. EEYAYAYYAYYA

They were vulnerable w/ each other , but they're not ready for anyone else 2 see them vulnerable . So Flower has 2 sneak out w/ Coiny seeing it . But they kind of fail 2 realize Flower can just walk out and be seen w/ out Coiny realizing bc he's kind of a dumbass . He's not gonna connect those dots ✌️😭
But it would be boring if Coiny didn't find out . Bc he's kind of a loud mouth and he's going 2 be a loud mouth here ! 😁
So they get caught , and it looks suspicious ofc bc why would Pin need 2 hide the fact that Flower stayed the night ? Then Coiny connects the dots
So now they have their first worry on top of all the other Worries I'm going 2 give them leading on 🌈🌈♥️ first worry being Coiny knows and eventually this news will spread bc Coiny can't keep his trap shut .
The worries they get as the days go on is that they're scared of themselves hurting the other and being left 2 be alone again . This mutual thought causes them 2 subconsciously distance a bit from each other . In their head , staying away from the other will protect the other from seeing the actual monster they believe themself 2 be . Also deep down they also want 2 protect themselves from more hurt .
As they both start 2 do this , they see the other distancing and get scared about it . They see it as the other saw the evil fucked up person they actually are and are getting away while they have a chance 2 escape
Ofc word does get out , even if Coiny told 1 person bc nobody can keep their mouths shut apparently .
Flower's first thought is 2 talk 2 Ruby about , she is one of the only other closest ppl she has . Ruby doesn't know anything or want anything 2 do w/ relationship stuff #aromamticism 🌈🎉🎉 But Ruby does help out w/ what she can . Ruby gives Flower the idea 2 show Pin her appreciation through gift giving . Tossing Book in there as well bc #FlowerBookPropaganda while I'm at it . Book gives her input as well n the 3 decide 2 try and find the perfect gift 4 Pin .
Pin on the other hand has nnooo idea who else 2 go 2 other than Coiny , but Coiny sucks ass at this stuff and she is well aware of that ( COUGH saying she doesn't need consoling even though bfdia fucked her up badly ) , which is why she avoids talking about anything heavy with him .
Pin decides she needs 2 talk 2 a smart person . Golfbal :)yay . Golfball has helped Pin B4 , so she figures maybe Golfball can help Pin w/ this as well .

Trying to think of Golfpin but all I can think of is GB shoving Pin into a contraption of hers, using her metal tip to conduct electricity. Pin is complaining the entire time but also really into it.
