Over the weekend I did one of my first EDM gigs at MIST lounge in San Francisco. A lot of energy, a lot of electro house. Here is my opening set, let me know what you think!

While most know W&W and Ummet Ozcan for their trance roots, as of lately  I've been enjoying the moves W&W have been making towards progressive/electro house. Regardless what genre prefer, this is a certified BANGA which you can definitely look forward to hearing in many DJ's sets to come!

Alvaro - Make Me Jump

Alvaro is one of my favorite DJ's and 2012 is his year. Coming off hits like "Pay Attention to the Drums" and "Make the Crowd Go", he really has what it takes to get any dance floor moving. Off of Tiesto's Club Life, here is a preview of his track "Make Me Jump" releasing on Beatport Dec. 3rd. I personally enjoy this track a lot, let me know what you guys think!

W&W - Lift Off (Original Mix) [preview]

Another BANGER by the duo themselves, the very nice blend of progressive house and trance. Definitely has the signature touch of W&W in the drop, eager for the release of this track to add to a mix.

Kaskade felt generous and made his remix of Katy Perry's "Wide Awake", downloadable on his soundcloud in celebration of 200k listens.

Not a big fan of drum and bass, nor Katy Perry, but it's different.. and of course, it's fucking Kaskade.

Quoting Ryan himself, "Is KP one of your guilty pleasures? It's cool I won't tell anyone you downloaded it..."

One of my favorite electro duo's amonst the elite like Bingo Players and Dada Life, Firebeatz posted a preview of their upcoming track "Disque" releasing on Beatport Dec. 10th, 2013.

Firebeatz is on the rise especially towards the end of 2012 with their singles like "Dear New York" (in which I did a mashup to: http://soundcloud.com/anthony-midas/every-new-york-breathe) and "Here We F*cking Go", which I might add are MASSIVE electro tracks. I was at Escape From Wonderland hosted by Insomniac and I cannot count how many times I heard those tracks played, including Michael Woods who opened "Dear New York"

"Disque" isn't quite like their last two singles, but I'm sure it's enough to get the crowd going once it's released!

Bingo Players x Mark Knight & Florence and the Machines - You've Got Out of My Mind (Anthony Midas mashup)

I'm a huge fan of Bingo Players and absolutely love this track. Thought I'd throw in the vocals of Florence and the Machines "You've Got the Love" remixed by Mark Knight. Basic, but it can add some variety to your mixes!
