The NYC woodcock keeps reminding me of when someone posted on our local sub reddit warning everybody that he nearly got mugged trying to see an American woodcock. so i edited the other two a little bit also to make them more cohesive. but basically the idea is increased vulnerability combined with increased confidence. clothing as representative of barriers between him and others, literally how much of himself he's willing to show. the poses i think are pretty straightforward with how much confidence they show, as well as how much trust he's offering - how many vulnerable spots he's willing to leave unguarded (or even present) to others as he gets older. i also tried to subtly shift the environment to be a tiiiiiiiiny bit brighter as time passes. nothing super complex but there you go. kaz
