Valinor
It was a time of celebration, the hour of the harvest and a new season as orchestrated by Yavanna. The escape of Melkor had caused many among the inhabitants of Aman fear and anguish, and to dispel this mood Mänwe announced a giant feast, greater and more joyous than any that has been given since first the Eldar came to Aman. Mänwe hoped too to cure the evils that had beset the Noldor bloodline, and all were summoned to his Halls at the Taniquetil to set aside all grievances, to forget the lies of the Enemy and reconcile.
But despite the grand invitation to the peoples of Formenos, only Fëanor rode to the Halls of Mänwe. Alone. And only because he was summoned. He did not dress for the occasion, nor did he wear jewels of any kind, and he denied the Valar the sight of his Silmarils and left them in the Vaults of Formenos under the guard of his father and his sons.
The Silmarillion (chapter 8: Of the Darkening of Valinor)
The Last March of the Ents by Allen Michael Geneta
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with weary feet,
Until it joins some larger way,
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

A Queen. Not dark but beautiful and terrible as the Dawn, reacherous as the Seas, stronger than the foundations of the Earth.
Green
