it’s important that you train her because a dog her size can be sort of dangerous even if she means perfectly well. start by loading a clicker. get a bunch of small treats she likes, maybe pretzels or crackers or some such. start feeding them to her one at a time, and click the clicker the instant she takes the treat in order to build a mental association between the click and the treat
once you’ve done that, you can start training things. first, make sure she has a way to articulate her boundaries. dogs can’t talk, so if she needs a break she needs a different way to communicate that to you. you should also get her comfortable with being touched and grabbed a bit. you don’t want her to snap at a veterinarian or try to bite down on you while you’re fucking her mouth. next is marker words
there are four basic markers. yes means “good job, come get a treat.” good means “keep doing that and you’ll get a treat later.” no is for correction, and out is a dismissal. the words don’t matter, you can use other ones, but the concepts are important. once you’ve got that, you can move on to commands
“sit” is always a good place to start. “stay” is also pretty important. once she’s mastered those, she’s ready to give head. “come” is also pretty important so you can get her out of bad situations quickly. what if another doggirl starts flirting with her or she runs into the street? she needs a reliable recall
while you work on commands, start introducing her to items. get her comfortable wearing a muzzle and paw mitts, and maybe a headband with dog ears on it. you should also introduce any sex toys you want to use with her in the same way. set them out and let her investigate them on her own first, then slowly start using them
you should also probably train “down” and “leave it”. sure, you like it when she jumps on you and knocks you down as foreplay, but not everyone will, and you should stop her from trying to jump on random people. you also don’t want her getting distracted by squirrel girls or the birria you forgot to put in the fridge last night
once you’ve got the basic commands down, you can start moving on to the fun ones. “roll over” is great for if you like to be on top. “kiss” is a classic, and “mount” paired with “fuck” can be fun if you’re playing with a second, more human submissive and your dog enjoys topping
you should also do some activities with her to keep her mind and body stimulated outside of training. she can do agility, or an adapted version of barn hunt with another sub if you have a big enough space for it. if you have a pool you can simulate dock diving with her. she can do bitework, of course. just be sure that you train her not to leave hickeys when she bites. that’s embarrassing to explain to people
