I went pretty domestic with these because I know I'd ramble too much about angst... and also I want a sitcom of them...
Most of the Midnight Mission budget goes towards takeout. Greer & 8Ball I believe can make a meal, but you can't confidently tell me any of the Midnight Mission are good cooks. Also both Marc & Badr get too focused on things and regularly forget to eat, and Soldier joins them in being more withdrawn and asocial at times. So dinner also became a routine way to check in on everyone too, make sure no one was retreating from life too long. Maybe I just really like the Avengers shawarma scene /j
Reese & Greer share an Audible account. Their relationship is quiet, but strong. They both have an interest in the more educational podcasts, but I think Reese introduced Greer to the story ones and they now text regularly trying to solve murder mysteries together. They both also refuse to pay the full subscription price on principle.
Soldier & 8Ball can be surprisingly great friends. 8Ball has a great sense of humour and helps Soldier let loose from his Mission responsibilities, meanwhile Soldier helps keep 8Ball on the right track and includes him in the group. I think they both missed hanging around with their boys (Soldier being with his crew in Hydra, 8Ball being with his other villain friends) so they fill a void in each other's lives. Both come from similar unfortunate pasts, so it's also a judgement-free zone for them both.
Marc uses his darts to open things. This one is simple and silly but I imagine he's super protective of all his gear, won't let anyone try it to keep them safe, has a million rules you have to follow when transporting his suit to not damage it, then just casually uses his darts to like... open their mail... it's only okay when he does it and it drives Reese insane.
Reese is the most involved with the MK system. I feel Marc would struggle being vulnerable around the guys & let's be honest, Badr, Soldier & 8Ball aren't exactly renowned for emotional competency. Then with Greer, I think he would still have a looming anxiety about putting too much on her and messing that relationship up. But Reese? They shared a lot of quiet and vulnerable moments in the early days of the mission, when it was just the two of them. I like to believe that after Marc explained the system, she went off and did a lot of research into DID to understand him better. Now, whenever they have issues in the sys or Marc is anxious about his mental health, Reese is the first to get involved. Reese is meant to be the equal-opposite to Marc, so I think, whilst they're both very self sufficient people, they support each other by patching the small holes in their lives that they can't fill themselves.
