I found a few shots from The Pillowman among some newspaper clippings. Sorry about the wrinkles! The top photo (which I don’t think I’ve seen) is by Neil Libbert. The bottom is by Ivan Kyncl.

(here’s part 1)
Since DT mentioned his 1996 RSC season in the recent (phenomenal) SAG-AFTRA interview, I figured I’d dig out some postcards from two of the plays he performed in that season. The General from America (top, don’t think I’ve seen this one online yet) and The Herbal Bed (bottom).

At laaaaaast! (Thank you for finding/posting!)
I came across some old RSC postcards a while back while checking out an antique and vintage ephemera collection, including these three featuring David Tennant in the 2000 RSC production of The Comedy of Errors. I’ve seen some very similar shots (especially re: the second and third one), but I’m not sure I’ve seen these exact ones around, so I figured they were worth a post!

Director David Blair and David Tennant (as Campbell Bain) from Takin’ Over the Asylum
Recently I had the great pleasure to chat at length with director David Blair, whose series Takin’ Over The Asylum is considered by many as David Tennant’s breakout role.
In 1994 the team of Blair and writer Donna Franceschild put their heads together to craft what became Takin’ Over The Asylum. With the help…

Wow, this is incredible insight into one of my favorite shows (and my favorite actor obviously, haha). Amazing interview!

I came across some old RSC postcards a while back while checking out an antique and vintage ephemera collection, including these four featuring David Tennant in the 2000 production of Romeo and Juliet. I’ve seen the bottom three shots before, but I don’t believe I’m familiar with the top one. They’re all lovely though so I figured they were worth a post!
