we need to talk about William Beckett
William Beckett is a known abuser in the scene. People have been speaking up against him for years.
Originally what sparked people to speak up was the 2018 incident on Twitter. You can watch someone explain it here in parts. There is also an account on instagram that saved all the screenshots from the event that happened in 2018. Basically William cheated on his wife with this person (whom he told the person that him and his wife were no longer married) and that spiraled into him saying that his wife abused him when he got caught in the lie. This has been covered multiple times and an in-depth dive would be from those videos I added from earlier.
The next is the way he treats his female fans. He sees them as people he can use and manipulate. Some examples are from this tiktok post. He used this fan then proceeded to gaslight and have his other fans plot against them. And it wasn’t just this fan. He has used other fans as people he could use for their money (having a fan pay for his ticket to a comic convention in chicago), used them to create setlists for him, and used a fan’s connections to get himself a gig he had the fan set up. These were all female fans. There are moments where he’ll flirt with these fans too. It is sickening. Below I’ll attach some proof.
