WIP up something for me 💖💫
Clover McGee my beloved long may she reign even in reincarnation 🖤
Warmup sketch
I’m trying to draw a mini comic of how Theo tamed Clover but I can’t decide whether he would be patient and gain her trust or if he would just lasso and break her in
Hi! I love your artstyle and followed you after I saw your pretty sketches of Theo and Clover! If it's all right may I ask for some lore of these characters? Are they from an original verse that you created?
Ahh thank you so much!! 🥹💕
And yes they’re my OCs! Theo kinda started out as more of a medieval OC but I got bored of that era (and drawing armour is hard hahaha)
Clover is a newer addition! [Why couldn’t I have just given him a dog, why did it have to be an animal I can’t draw 🙂↕️]
I’m still figuring out their backgrounds/stories so I don’t have much lore for them beyond what I’ve already shared tbh! But here’s a little insight into Theo’s morality and worldview:
- He believes in survival of the fittest.
- He thinks that there’s no point in waiting around for what you want when you can just take it.
- He despises those born into privilege and wealth, and especially nepotism. It is unearned and thus undeserved. He views them as weak and deserving victims.
And here’s some of his little habits:
- He subconsciously scratches his nose when lying.
- He’s extremely competitive, even in games with no reward.
- Never drinks to the point of drunkenness, especially when in company.
I’m definitely working on developing more for him! I’ve grown quite attached to Theo haha. But a lot of his story is intertwined with Amélie, my female OC. I haven’t finished designing her yet though!
Thank you for the support though! I hope you’ll stick around! 💕

Theo and Clover
Clover was a wild horse that Theo tamed himself, and they’ve been inseparable ever since.
He named her “Clover” after four leaf clovers, because meeting her was the first time in his life he felt his luck was turning.
She’s still quite feisty, and will only let Theo saddle her. He always makes sure she’s fed first before getting food himself, which on low-money days means he has to go without.
Sawyer wip!!

Decided to ink my Theo sketches. I’m actually really enjoying drawing cowboys atm it’s more fun than I thought! Helps that I’m in the middle of a Wild West hyperfixation atm lol
But anyway, here’s some fun facts about Theo!
- “Harlowe” is his mother’s maiden name.
- He ran away from home at 13.
- He claims his nose was broken in a bar fight. The reality is that his father broke it in a drunken rage.
- Loves card games but often cheats.
- Despite how he likes to boast, he’s never actually killed anyone. Yet.
This game was so much fun
And it did what Red Dead Redemption did before RDR was a thing, a story driven open world western.
I mean, hell. This game came out a year after Red Dead Revolver. I liked both games, but between the two this was the superior one, the voice acting was phenomenal, I mean you have Thomas Jane, Ron Pearlman, Kris Kristofferson, and Brad Dourif who absolutely nailed it as the mad preacher.
I also like that the game was based on real life locations like Doge City, and some of the people were based on real historical figures as well
Clay Allison was an actual gun fighter and Confederate army veteran who had a run in with Wyatt Earp, his epitaph reads “He never killed a man that did not need killing”
Hoodoo Brown was also real, the leader of the Dodge City gang, he also became a coroner and a mayor after winning an election for justice of the peace. He was as corrupt as the game portrays him.
Soapy was based on Soapy Smith, con artist and gangster.
There was so much love and attention to detail put into this game, and Activision has shown they can release an open world western shooter that could rival today’s Red Dead. It’s just unfortunate they’re contented on beating the dead horse of their cash cow call of duty.
But then maybe that’s a good thing considering the direction and lack of vision the company has been putting on display these past several years.
But if they really wanted to impress their consumers and the gaming industry as a whole they’d release another banger of a western, hell I’d accept a remake that remained faithful to the original, maybe even add in some of the cut content that had to be removed due to time constraints. There was supposed to be an entire new region to explore in Mexico where the final standoff with Magruder was supposed to take place.
Idk if it’s just me but I’m sooo tired of seeing men described as animalistic in fiction. As soon as I see the words growling, primal, snarling, “mates”, I don’t continue. It’s just so overdone now and honestly not that appealing to me.
If you’re gonna be doing all that, might as well get on all fours and bark for me while you’re at it too.
Killing must feel good to God too, he does it all the time.
I wanted this one to complement my previous portraits of these two, so it matches them with themes and format. They're always so fun to draw, the series' specific lighting and color palettes never cease to inspire me. 🖤
Not sorry but every time I see Whitney in my minds eye he doesn't look like an eboy twink he's a football guy to me. He's chunky.
XIII - Death
I need 50 comics of Theo being soft with Clover plzz
I knew as soon as I gave that damn horse a name I was gonna have to draw her more
On it right as we speak though anon! 🫡
Cowboy!Theo
I love love loooove western media/spaghetti westerns, and just this era of history in general. The only reason I haven’t drawn this sooner is because horses and guns are the bane of my life lol
Anyway, some info on this version of my OC!
His full name is Theodore Harlowe (slightly different from his medieval version, and “Harlowe” is inspired by Red Harlow from Red Dead Revolver!). I’m not fully sure about his age yet, maybe around 20-25? And I imagine his personality to be a bit like DiCaprio’s character in The Quick and The Dead, a bit arrogant and cocky but eager to prove himself.
He runs with a small outlaw gang and has from a young age, though admittedly doesn’t feel much attachment to any of them. The only things he truly cares about are his horse, Clover, and money.
Him and Amelie aren’t childhood friends in this version, instead meeting later in life. They actually hate each other at first, as they both come from such different walks of life and can’t understand the other. Though they eventually fall for each other, he won’t leave his life and nor will she leave hers, and they part on bad terms.
Anyway that’s my yap sesh over for now lol. I’ll design Amelie’s western look soon too. Lemme know if you wanna see more of this version, or any other time period in history! 🫶
