This is how we presented our final pieces. We presented them on google sites where we placed all out images in and worked out the best layout to show them in, there was no writing needed as it was just a showcase of my outcomes. I put all the best outcomes on here and some of my imagery I had taken on a carousel of images to show how these images turnt into what I did.
I put my design on some different type of bottles that they could be presented on. I don't really like these mock ups as much because there is a shadow on the front because it ruins the design but for showing them on different bottle types its a good way to show. And the design was definitely not made for this shape as mine were a lot smaller and they fit more nicely onto the ones I made.
These are what some of my outcomes would look like if they were to be posted on instagram. I have shown a variety of outcomes in these mockups of products and some edited pictures I have done.
These are some of my images I had done on a Instagram page. This is what people were to see if they were to go on my page, there is a clear colour scheme going on and that's what I like most about this because I think that colour is the thing that people remember and they want to scroll on to see what else there is to offer.
Not all of the designs have to be of the products as you can see there is a few posts that I have done that use some design posts where I created repeated patterns or used the masking tool to create something a little different rom the imagery.
Compared to some other skincare Instagram pages they post images of their products in all different type of locations and compositions so that's what I tried to do.
This is how these instagram story would look like in mockups. They look like some that you would see on instagram on the daily, some of them are promoting the products and some are telling you the they have uploaded something to their page.
These are some of my own edits that I put onto instagram story mock ups, there is the tagged user and it is how you would see it if it was on the phone.
Looking at all of these together as a set they all use a similar colour palette and therefore together they look good.
There is a use of different shapes and line work that I had created, all of the images used were my own that I had taken.
The composition of all of these outcomes are different, none of the images are placed in the same place they all are different and with that it gives them a different look of each of them.
What I like more about them all is how they will look when they are posted in mock-ups and would look if they were to be posted onto Instagram. And how in most of them there is a continuous theme going on with either it being the colour or the style that I chose to do.
Next time I might use the theme of the pink background more so then all of them match better and also to think about how I could incorporate more than 2 images into a page, so how I could add more.
when researching Instagram stories they are very simple and use the colours that are mostly used on the images taken, for design they usually use a lot of line work and shapes to create detail and then the type to go over the top as well so that is what I tried to portray in my own work.
There are some of my illustrated image, so they are the images that I had taken and then drew over them.
All of these images had different backgrounds so it was hard for them to all look like a set. Most of them have the large drips coming out them and I did that because of the liquid inside of them would be spilling out. Also for them too look 3D I added shading to them but in a cartoon way because if I was to shade them they would fit the style I was going for.
For the colours I tried to use similar colours to the images, so using the eyedropper tool I collected some colours that would look good and that would stand out against everything going on behind it.
What I would off tried would have been to see if I could do anything to the background but then that might take away the focus of the products.
I have found the ones with the blue backgrounds work the best because it has the same colour throughout the whole background and its simple enough to make everything stand out ad there is nothing that does more than others.
Compared to the research I think that they look pretty similar to the ones I had researched in the way that the illustrations flow on the page.

I used a lot of different compositions, using plain backgrounds to bring out the design and the colour of the packaging. I used some flowers to get some different type of images rather than just using the plain background because they would look boring even though when you add some editing to them they could look cool. The flowers bring some more colour to the image I chose those colours for the flowers because the pink matches the colour palette I was going for and the white goes with everything and are very subtle.
The lighting I used was I had a ring light and changed the setting from white light, blue light and a warm light to see what I could get out of each of them. I also used day light and the sunset light which also gave a different type of light and they all worked well enough to use them for some edits.

I really like the images on the ones held up against the sky because it is such a blue and natural image and the lighting as well makes it even better. And especially when it comes to editing them they could work well with most colours.
These flat lay images are well presented they use other things than just the products.
I like these images a lot, I think that all the colours in each images work well with each other, they all have plain backgrounds which then bring everything above it more and makes the colours pop more.
The composition in these images are the most important because its all about the placement of the products because that has the be the main focus of the images.
The backgrounds that use water give it off a texture and I think they work really well because Theres also a reflection in the water that imprint onto the product. Also the use of flowers on the white background.
This is my branding guidelines which shows all the things I will be using throughout the rest of my project and they are also what you would send off to the client to see if they approve everything.
What I put into mine is the logo I created, alternate logos, colour palette, fonts and any icons that I thought I might want to use.
Even in this I used the same colours as the colour palette that I am going to be using.
This will help me throughout to find the fonts I am using and having to download them.
