hey uhhhhh I loved that old Firebreather Roy AU a lot, to the point that I tried justifying it in-universe with chimerism and stuff, took it to its logical extremes, and ended up with actually the darkest AU I’ve ever made (with help from Discord buddies). Oops…. :’)

Essentially: instead of learning Flame Alchemy, young Roy and Berthold’s research are both sold to the military’s highly advanced chimera program and he’s turned into a living weapon known as The Beast of Ishval. He has a Very Bad Time. Luckily Riza eventually finds him and pull strings to bring him back home, with Hughes’ help, and then it’s a hurt/comfort thing with Roy as a big cute lizard man.

Other highlights: Riza becomes a Colonel, the other Mustang squad members are also chimeras, including Edward, and are under her protection. She’s unofficially called “The Beastmaster Alchemist” and is very smarmy.

My roommate and I are really sick and we look like shit, but we were hungry so we ordered pizza. But we didn’t want anyone to see us, so we asked them over the phone if we can leave the money on the door and they can just drop off the pizza. The guy said sure.
