Loki had been screaming for several hours in his sleep, as a result his throat was very sore when he woke up in the dark. He didn't want to speak nor did he have any desire to remain in the dark alone, so he ventured to Thor's chambers and without saying anything, he crawled into the thunder God's bed and cuddled against him.
Thor had been deep asleep after a rather long day, dreams simply consisting of memories. Memories of when he was little with his little brother, playing together, wandering the halls late at night together. When the bed dipped slightly, he woke up. He kept his eyes closed though, simply shifting onto his side and gently wrapping both arms around Loki.
Loki giggled and got off of Thor as he sat up. “Come onnnn we gotta go before all the cooks get to the kitchens.” He said climbing off the bed and tugging on Thor’s arm.
He smiled and got up, getting out of bed. “Okay, okay, let’s go, Loki.” He laughed, more amused by Loki’s attitude.
Loki took Thor’s hand and practically dragged him to the kitchens happily.
Thor more stumbled after Loki, still a little tired from having just woke up, but he had no complaints.
