Analysis on Toy Story 4
Now let’s Analyze the recent movie, Toy Story 4 (2019)
Let’s start first in analyzing Toy Story 1 back in 1995
Toy story 1 being the first computer based animated movie, had started the trend on how these technologies could progress in creating such unrealistic animations and pieces of work that had a lot of ground breaking awards. Having to produce this kind of movie that relates with computers, animations and editing unrealistic objects to create such a storyline took a lot of years to produce the first movie of Toy Story. Based from the two documentaries, specifically on how the production made the storyboard of the movie, the first Toy Story made their storyboard with just pure imagination wherein the drafts of their storyboard was drawn in every shot of the movie and was discussed by the whole team, having to compare it on how technology and computer animators progresses nowadays, they would create the storyboard using technology as well and had drafts on how these cartoons would act by creating sample videos of it using the characters. The production from the first Toy Story for me should still be credited on discovering and imagining something new as they worked hard in creating such animation with the use of limited resources, but still managed to make things work. It was mentioned on the first documentary how they try to do the animation of the movie first wherein some of it were molded into 3D first before giving life to the objects. They would try to create animations (avar) first before putting it on a particular character wherein in the case of Woody he had 212 animations only for his head and 58 for his mouth based from the documentary. Furthermore, as for my opinion the production in Toy Story 4 only reused some of it and had developed the things that the production started in 1995. These developments however were too realistic and very detailed with the help of such newly invented gadgets.
