Plural nouns
Masculine nouns add an -s to their form and take the deifnite article los:
el día --> los días el hermano --> los hermanos el libro --> los libros
If the noun end in a consonant, instead of -s we add -es (and the deifnite articles los):
el animal --> los animales el doctor --> los doctores el hospital --> los hospitales
Feminine nouns ending with a vowel add -s and take the definite article las:
la bolsa --> las bolsas la lámpara --> las lámparas la persona --> las personas
If the noun end in a consonant, we add -es (and the definite article las):
la canción --> las canciones la ciudad --> las ciudades la flor --> las flores
