Whether or not we want to admit it, I can guarantee that a majority of us have either met or seen that one person that has made our heart skip a beat and for a split second we’ve been lost in a thought of being with them. I personally don’t when I experience the situation if I’ve been infatuated with the idea of the person or if I’ve actually been infuriated with the actual person. It honestly doesn’t matter though. Feelings for someone can bring out the best in a person or it can bring out the worst. Some people are better at hiding their emotions compared to others, some are lucky enough to have an outlet to get their emotions out, or some are less fortunate and dwell on what could have been. I personally don’t know which one I am, but I’m okay with that. I know that dance is my outlet and I hope for others that they find their outlet as well, but there is definitely those times where I just sit and no matter what I do, my head is filled with thoughts.

Everyone goes through different stages in their lives. Some are lucky enough to find love, some think that they’ve found love, and others are still waiting for the right time to fall in love. It’s all about timing. It could be the right person, the right, the right place or etc. but if the time isn’t right, the relationship won’t be. No matter what we think or how we feel, I’m one of the biggest believers of fate. If things are meant to happen, it will happen. As desperate as it sounds, or as lonely as it sounds I honestly don’t care because I know that I’m happy.

I’m hoping that this piece comes across as something that anyone can relate to. -MC

I’ve never really been one to rush into a relationship but I’ve always liked the idea of being in one. When it comes to relationships I’ve realized that they can’t be rushed or forced, a true relationship just happens without any thought. It’s kind of like that “love at first sight” kind of thing. Let fate decide when you’re ready to be in a relationship. Until then, keep doing what you’re doing because the right person will come along when it’s meant to be.
