It’s definitely my favorite holiday. Except for Halloween of course.

Great holiday. Love it. And I look totally awesome in red.

Vermillion. Say it with me, vermillion. It’s sort of like a worn red color. Like powdery almost. 

All those things play a part in painting too. If you don’t take them into account, nothing turns out right. It’s nice, you just sort of watch bit by bit as things come together. It’s not so immediate.

Well I mean some abstract paintings look like they let a baby dip their hands in paint and go crazy. I mean I went to a museum and it was just a painted canvas. All blue. That was it. That was the art. I like pictures because you can take hundred but you just get that one perfect picture. You saw the chance and you took it. Now it's there forever.

Vermillion is the color. It’s like a red, sort of. It’s more than just paint.

How is it a sorta red. Like is it a red, purple? Or a red, orange? Is it blood orange? This is why I like pictures. Makes more sense. You just worry about perspective, angles, lighting. Not verminillian

Their puppies aren’t on a calender. They have no attachments to the puppies on that calender.

The puppies remind them of their puppies. The chipmunk reminds them of the squirrel that bit them once at the bus stop when they were seven.

Headcanon 1:

Mika is a vegetarian, or at least she tries to be. She converted her senior year of high school but since she's a very picky eater it's hard at times. Mika's had occasional slip ups but she hasn't eaten meat in six months, something she's very proud of.

I don't want to exploit them but if they could sing, I'd be rich and it may be worth it. A chipmunk calendar wouldn't make much money.

It's super charming. If only they could sing. I'd exploit them like in Alvin in the Chipmunks.
