"I uhm...I have an appointment."

The room's felt suffocating. Surrounded by wood walls and lush plants, Nagi Seishiro tapped his foot on the floor anxiously. He couldn't even remember when he last went outside, let alone left his room.

Mikage Reo has had Nagi Seishiro erased from his memory.

The words looped in Nagi's head over and over as he watched the printer on the counter eject dull papers with others' names plastered on them. He fiddled with his fingers, knowing that soon another would be printed with his own name front and center.

It felt as though the walls were closing around Nagi, his head spinning with the thought of Reo walking through those same doors, saying those same words, all to erase the very memory of the one he called his own just weeks before. Nagi Seishiro never wanted things to end like this. He wished he could turn back time and tell Reo how much he loved him, but he couldn't. He always had trouble expressing his love no matter how deep it was.

"Alright then, please sign these papers."

Nagi gripped the clipboard with shaking hands. Was it too late to go back? Would he be able to live with a void in his heart, not even knowing it was Reo who was supposed to fill it? He shook the thoughts away. Reo wanted this. He did it first. "Do you have a pen?"

The woman behind the counter pointed towards the cup of pens in the corner of the room and Nagi nodded. It was strange. The interior of the room was cozy and familiar, but the circumstance was far from that. Reo was his love, his life, his soul, but he was willing to erase Nagi from his memory without a trace. The thought of that wiped away Nagi's doubt as the pen glided across the paper with his signature. The second he got up and handed the clipboard back to the woman, he knew there was no turning back.
