So I've been reading a lot of articles on improving and recently I watched this amazing video on Youtube that's really kicked my ass in gear. (Oops Pardon my french!) This video is amazing and inspirational to any artists, or maybe even people who want to do art but think they suck.Â
So why is this blog called 10,000 hours - so there's a guy called Malcolm Gladwell he says that 'ten thousand hours is the magic number of greatness.' I'm not honestly sure how many hours I've spent in the past 25 years but I'm going to try over the next few years to put in that amount time and energy into improving.Â
I want to not only make money from doing art but I want to actually improve and be the best I can be which means working on my art flaws. So each week I'll be posting my practice pieces, doing tutorials and sharing what I learn.Â
This week, I'm starting with the bane of my existence and I'm sure a lot of other artist's kryptonite, hands. It's no joke I HATE drawing hands, so for the next week I'll be doing tutorials and trying to improve.Â
